Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)

Someone mentioned this the other day, and it was perfect. Deebo.

Even though a few Laker fans try to fight it, or don't want to admit it, it's hardwired into our brains to expect to Deebo other teams out of their players. I was playing ball this morning and dudes ages 20 to 60 were all saying the same thing, "Yeah, getting Nash was good, now after we get Dwight, we'll be straight".

Yeah, if we "have" to keep Andrew no one will be upset, but Laker fans are always going to be greedy, that will never change, it's in our DNA.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yes, you can be greedy at one point, then content at another. It's not a hard concept to follow.
Oh ok... and here I thought they were opposite... Whew

The circumstances all point to fans showing their greed (for now) in wanting a trade for Dwight. Those circumstances include Drew showing consistent immaturity and obviously Steve Nash coming to town, where Dwight is a better fit than Drew. There are only a few other teams that can offer Orlando better packages than LA can. It makes sense for fans to clamor for a move.
Because Dwight has shown the most maturity in the world up til this point.... I get it!

With all that said, in no way does that mean LA fans don't want Drew.
I mistook trade him for wanting him, my bad again, and again you love to pick out words to fit your arguments and im seeing the holes like swiss cheese.

Once the dust settles and Dwight is still in Orlando and Drew is still here, they will be just fine with him. These are the same fans who constantly point to Drew's "post game" being much more polished than Dwight's. These are the same fans that stretch any point they can to prove that Drew is as good as Dwight is.
I dont really care what Bandwagon fans say.

As far as Nash again, well obviously he should have been traded earlier for more parts and assets. That goes without saying. I have no idea what game you're referring to. What they came up with now is a lot better than getting zero in return, low draft picks or not.

It doesnt matter when your team is not trying to build anything anyway

If they were trying to they would've traded him, but thats obviously NEVER been Sarver's motivation and he has a long track record to show for it.. This cannot be looked over.

If you can't see the difference when it comes to "maturity" between Drew and Dwight, then I feel for you.

There's a huge difference. Especially on the court.

            Anyway *tips cap

              Keep your emotions

I haven't seen Drew hold his team hostage or flip flop, but I have with Dwight, and half of Bynums problems come from Kobe anyway, something Dwight said he didnt want to deal with, but knowing him, he changed his mind the next day

A double minded man is unstable in ALL HIS WAYS

                  Yeah you can actually LOL.

I want Duhwight on my team but I'd also be fine if we still kept Brook. No different with ex in that I'm sure he wants Duhwight as well but would have no problem with Bynum staying there.

Shoot, I'd love to find a Sports Fan who's NOT content and greedy at the [Future]SAME DAMN TIME[/Future] LOL.

On a team with Nash and Kobe, I don't foresee any of the antics Dwight pulled in Orlando carrying over. Holding a team hostage or what have you..

                    Just my view

I could easily see all of Drew's antics, Kobe-taught or not, carrying over to any team he plays for. Still teams will live with those issues because he's a promising player. I can't stand him at times but he is a definite second option.

What is Bayless going to give Chicago? Playing time at the 2? At 6'3? With no effort on defense?

Unless you're a bandwagon LA fan im not talking to you, because the truth of the matter is, The Wizards nor the Nets have any kind of reason right now or ever to feel content as LA has

Im addressing specifics. Its just that things are being left out of the conversation in replies for argumentive points that are half baked

What point is changing here.. I'm not justifying anything actually. I'm saying Drew's immaturity is much different than Dwight's, and yes both have shown red flags. I'd take Dwight and his issues any day over Drew and his. Skillsets included in the discussion.

As I said, I don't see Dwight's major issues carrying over to a team with Nash and Kobe at the helm.
