Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)

This mess needs to be over with by tonight or we need to move on for good. No need to revisit this next week or next month or even when the season starts.

I'd consider this Offseason to be an A+ for us regardless if he comes here or not(which I don't believe he will and never really have)but this is getting even more ridiculous than it already is.

I commend JR Smiff for taking less money to play for a team which he likes. However there's probably no destination of his liking that has enough money for him.

Man you really need to just stop. This video shows someone (not even Bynum) saying "Bynum hasn't said anything." It doesn't prove any point you're trying to make. The Magic would be idiots to make a blockbuster trade for a guy who "hasn't said anything" regarding whether or not he'd resign. As I (and everyone else who is still even responding to this stuff) said, he'd need to agree BEFORE going for it to make sense to Orlando. Saying nothing is the same as not agreeing BEFORE.

Shrug. Houston should facilitate Bynum to Houston and Dwight to LA. Houston has superior assets to what Orlando would get in that other deal, rookie contracts and flush with picks (Utah, Toronto, Memphis, Dallas 1sts). Anyway, Dwightmare continues

He needs to sign with LA fitness and drop some LBs
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

The Cavs were loaded. The Mavericks were tough. The Hawks were tough. Phoenix was tough. Portland was a tough out.

Yeah...the top teams tended to be a repeat of Boston, LAL, Philly, etc. But it was absolute hell getting to the Finals back then. Wasn't a cakewalk in the least. The games were absolutely enjoyable...at least from my memory. We just didn't have the constant access to the games as we do have now.
                  Looking past the BOS/LA matchups...

Besides LAs 3 Game 7s on their road to the ship in '87, and I think one other I'm forgetting (Detroit?), I don't remember there being a huge amount resistance for the eventual champs in this time period.

I kind of want dwight to go to the Nets in the sense that their could be an AWESOME playoffs.

Imagine the second round in the east of:

Heat vs Knicks & Celtics vs Nets

                      and then in the west:

Thunder vs. Clippers & Spurs vs. Lakers

The amount of stars would be insane:

                      LeBron
                      D-Wade
                      Bosh
                      Ray Allen
                      Melo
                      Stoudemire
                      Lin (kind of...)
                      KG
                      Pierce
                      Rondo
                      D-Will
                      Joe Johnson
                      Dwight Howard
                      Gerald Wallace (kind of...)
                      KD
                      Westbrook
                      Harden
                      CP3
                      Blake Griffin
                      Tim Duncan
                      Tony Parker
                      Manu
                      Kobe
                      Nash
                      Bynum
                      Pau

Just when it seemed like the Spurs weren't doing anything at all, they break out three moves in two days. First Green, then Boris and now I see Timmay has agreed to a 3 year, 36 million dollar deal. Showed up as an update on my phone from Yahoo Sports.

Will it be enough to just stay pat? Hopefully they can add at least one new body to the rotation, or hope Splitter can continue to develop. I don't know how Duncan will look at all next year...

Yeah, I'm pissed the Bulls most likely won't be in the mix of all of this. Unless they can get the 5-seed and somehow beat the Knicks (or whoever is the 4 seed)...unlikely

Imagine if somehow the matchups came to be:

Clippes v. Lakers (inter LA rivalry)

Spurs v. Thunder (young v. old, rematch)

                              Heat v. Celtics (self explanatory)

Knicks v. Nets (inter NY rivalry)
                              Chicago Bulls

Would rather lose Dwight for nothing, get the cap space & a shot at a top-5 draft pick (because the team will be awful) than take a bad deal
