I didnt get the fat jokes before because I didnt really see much Knicks games when he was there and didnt watch Blazers games. But damn, he should keep his self in better shape than that.

If someone didnt know who he was, you wouldnt think he was a professional basketball player by looking at him.

Nah it's cool. All that fat makes him "feel stronger." And he'll just use the first month of the season to get into shape.

Dang, now I know what they meant when they said Felton was a big reason we weren't going to re-sign Lin.

We can't say the possibility doesn't exist.

That's what I'm saying too. Better may have to remain to be seen but "just as good" is a strong possibility. But as for the chain of events, I think they had every intent on matching the original offer. Houston changed the offer and Lin played ball with them... actively working to make things more difficult for the Knicks. Meanwhile, the Knicks don't know if this is going to escalate to a point where they have no choice but let him go.

So whether it actually got to that point or not, the Knicks made moves to protect themselves by signing a few other PGs. Once that happened you have to take a step back and reevaluate the situation. Looking at what his contract would do to them down the road, the roster they've put together preparing for the worse, and his actions in all of this, I think they did the right thing. He hasn't proven enough to be able to drive this kind of bidding war. That's how the Wizards got stuck paying Juwan Howard $100 mil.

Why am I in better shape than a professional basketball player who has access to some of the best trainers and dietary specialists in the world?

                This can't be life.

Front runners for free agent center Darko Milicic are Miami, Clippers, Chicago and Brooklyn, source tells Y! Sports.

I don't know how much $ the market for Darko is...but I'd MUCH MUCH MUCH rather get Darko for cheap (who is 1 yr older than Asik), then pay asik $25M

EDIT: Also, supposedly the Bulls are the front runner for Marco Belinelli...

If the Heat sign Darko, they'll have 4 of the top 5 picks in the 2003 NBA draft.
