    haha dissin Afflalo,
yeah the Magic are about to repeat 1997-2004 but
It is way better than letting the Howard Saga slowly destroy your teams fan base then get nothing in 10 months.
It's gonna be ugly in Orlando, maybe even uglier than Atlanta after the Smitty trade back in 99 but they'll recover...

I'm guessing they're waiting for Noel to come out.

I mean it would follow the script of "Magic lose franchise Center to Lakers, suck for a few years and then get another franchise Center, keep for a few years before they bolt to LA" right?

I can see the hate & anger coming up and out of the closet from residents all around OS on this deal lol.

I remember saying a few months ago that if Dwight came to L.A. it was going to be entertaining reading on OS.

Looks like its about to come to fruition.

Bring the ire people, it's ok... I understand it.

BTW in no way do any of these deals (Nash, Dwight) equate to a chip. Not in any world, chips still gotta be earned.

If anything, Stern should rig the draft to prevent Orlando from getting any more #1 draft picks because clearly they have no idea how to run their franchise nor appease a star player. Can't even make trades properly.

And you'd have to be a fool to not think LA is the favorite hands down to win a championship. This is one of the best starting 5s in the history of the NBA. Mike Brown is a horrible coach but not even he can mess this up.

It's a vicious circle, I don't think Noel can be as good as Howard though, most don't believe he's better than Davis. I think Orlando should just stay away from centers for a decade or two, they just aren't working out, find a back court player to build around.

I still like the trade for the 76ers even though I hate the Lakers. Somehow I had a brain fart on the protected 1st round picks thing. Magic are going to need to find their Marc Gasol/ Darell Arthur for this trade to work.

Miami and OKC are still more complete teams and should be ahead of LAL in terms of favorites.

Both of those teams have multiple players entering their primes.

LAL no doubt becomes top 3 but Kobe, Pau and Nash are aged. They had the worst bench in the league last year and added Jamison to help. Still aren't the favorites.

I remember hearing this the first year Bron, Wade and Bosh played together and we see how it turned out that year.
