I joined this game late but I like Morris's speed and the way he changes the tempo. He might freeze up on pressure defense, but I think he would make a great PG in a 2nd unit lineup of he, Kobe, Ebanks, Jamison and Dwight.

Ron Ron gets streaky with his 3 balls like that, did it a few times last year.

It's entertaining if anything else, I cringe every time he hoists them up.

I don't think Morris really freezes up, it's his defense that gets him benched mostly IMO.

As a Lakers fan, I'm not impressed. Keep in mind that we're facing another team going 0-3 in the season and probably currently the worst team in the NBA.

Blunt, but honest.

I honestly still have my skeptics about this team chemistry, offense, and above all, Mike Brown.

Now, some of the things I see that are going to improve throughout the season are Dwight, as he's still recovering, and defense. As I said before, I'm still a bit indifferent about the Princeton offense in general, and as long as the Lakers continue to run it they won't get much production out of Nash, which neigh defeats the purpose of the Lakers acquiring him in the first place. (I mean come on, even Derek Fisher could play this role. Judging by the way it looks right now, he might as well be Derek Fisher.)

That said, until I either see them utilizing Steve Nash effectively and the role players/bench contributing more consistently, I'm more than doubtful for the Lakers success this season.

So it's far too early to jump the gun and say they're going to win a title.

But with Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol, I'm also at the same time still highly optimistic and hopeful. The true potential of this team is in my opinion unparalleled.

Let's go, Lakeshow.

Kind of sucks that once Nash comes back, he'll lose his minutes... makes me wonder, based on what I've seen from Morris, will Lakers lose that "change of speed". Trying to figure out why Jodie lost his... and sometimes I think Ebanks should be starting over MWP but I haven't really seen that much Ebanks to be able to know, but definitely if Ron struggles.

I do agree with you Stalker, and as I don't think Lakers will win the title with Mike Brown as the coach, their upcoming schedule of sub par .500 teams just might be what the my need right now to get their game together.

I personally feel like Mike Brown needs to get his rotation down, but he always changes it for no apparent reason (remember last year when he suddenly stopped playing McRoberts for Murphy? and then the Jordan Hill breakout)

I think Hill shouldn't be on the floor with Howard, he can't shoot and all he would do is clog the lane. Put shooters out there with Howard when he's on the floor, I think his 2nd quarter starting unit should look like, Blake, Kobe, Ebanks, Jamison and Dwight. And I believe he REALLY needs to keep 2 of the 4 on the floor at the same time; whether its Nash/Pau or Kobe/Dwight, that way the bench doesn't get exposed.

Joe Dumars sent this Pistons team to hell.They used to always be in the playoffs and eastern conference finals just a few years back.With his stunts such as over paying for 3rd/4th options(ie:Ben Gordon,Charlie Villanueva).And letting Mr.Billups walk for AI then turn the team over to Rodney Stuckey.I feel bad for Pistons fans.
