I still stand by my belief that Nash isn't a great fit with the Lakers. Nash usually needs a usage % of 20 or so and I don't believe he will be able to be effective with out it. For Comparison Kobe usually needs his usage % in the 30s to be effective. Do I think Kobe will be able to defer enough for Nash to be effective? No I do not. I believe we will see the kind of numbers Nash had in the 90s and not in the 00s

Shaq had me laughing hard when he was going at Sir Charles for not wanting to evaluate the Mavericks because they were missing two starters last night.

I kind of agree but then don't. I think Nash is a good fit for any team so long as that team allows him to be Nash.

And maybe the Lakers won't because of Kobe? Though I don't think Kobe is the problem. The Lakers seemed to be just fine in their offense in the first quarter. The 2nd was mostly a mess. I went to sleep at half time.

What bothered me most is watching Nash become a regular point guard in the new offense. I didn't see him driving the lane, taking running jumpers, head faking to create space by the free throw line. He just passed the ball off and ran to a new spot.

If Mike Brown truly believes his offense is better by nullifying Nash's talents then he's as stubborn as Mike D'Antoni.

Watching the Heat is like playing NBA 2k13 with 12 min quarters: 120 points, sky-high fg% and LeBron & Wade scoring at will.

Mike Brown = most overrated coach in NBA history. If the man didn't coach LeBron he'd NEVER have a job today. He gets bailed out by the talent he has, in spite of his abilities.

Sorry, there's NO WAY the Lakers should lose that game. This team looks out of sync, NOT because they don't know the plays, but because this offense does NOT fit their talent and it's a disaster waiting to happen. Shoot, they should be scoring like the Lakers of old - in the 120's. Nash looks like he he's got shackles on him.

              Mike Brown is just awful...

If they wanted to run the princeton offense, should have just hired Rick Adelman instead.

In fact, they should have just hired Rick Adelman period.

Hard to consider him overrated when most people didn't think he was that good of a Head Coach anyway.

There are plenty of other names that would come up before Mike Brown's name would if I were naming most overrated HC in NBA History.

Lakers need to play uptempo bball of 3 years ago and scrap tryin to focus defense and worrying about offense later, none those guys are great one on one defenders. Push the ball make other teams play catch-up and funnel everything towards howard in the paint.
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                          Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                          Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

                          Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

According to Marv last night, he wanted to implement it last year and approached Kobe about it after their playoff loss

Yes he did, it was all his idea. He was thinking about implementing it at the end of last season.

Nash really isn't the same guy we're all used to, which is sad. His stop and go, his speed, burst, they're all slow as hell now. He even got picked in the back court, the first time I've ever seen that. Even if they weren't in the princeton offense I'd wonder if Nash would look that much better. I have my doubts. He is 39 after all.

I think some people forget this and it is key. He's a 16 year vet and as good as you take care of yourself age catches up.
