I'm not surprised he's thinking it. Just the fact that he came out and said it and actually seems alright with the idea of being traded.NFL: Bills

Also, Moses I don't think he'll retire next year at all. I think he'll play at least one more season if not two. Where that's at... is anyone's guess. Probably won't be Boston.Comment

I doubt PP is ready to retire. If Boston moves on I'm sure he'll find another spot soon enough after.Comment

Re: Chris Broussards Sources tell me Trade Rumors and Discussion Thread
Well Jackson is an expiring contract, so he wouldn't be on the books for next year, he would really just be there to take from San Antonio. Big Al is only on one more year on his contract, and I think its doubtful he'll return to Utah, because Utah won't be willing to throw that much money his way again when they've got a great youth movement with Hayward, Millsap, Favors and Kanter. Blair is another expiring contract and he's also a guy who doesn't get much run in San Antonio, he could probably find some minutes in Utah's rotation with Jefferson leaving. Bonner gives them a great three point shooter, something the Spurs would still have in plenty of even with him and Jackson departing. Carroll would be unfortunate to lose but he's not even making $1 million this year on his last year of his contract and I'm not sure the Jazz could afford to keep him.
I see this as a trade that's really helping San Antonio, particularly for this year. I'm sure the Spurs see this as one of the last years the Big Three of Parker, Ginobili and Duncan are going to be able to make a serious run at the championship and bringing in Jefferson is undoubtedly going to help with that. For the Jazz they lose a veteran presence in Jefferson and maybe it doesn't immediately make them better, but at the same time it allows their youth to really step up and be the center of attention and the center of the team and it doesn't hurt them salary cap wise in the long run.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

That still doesn't make any sense for Utah.
They are supposedly getting a prospect or something from the Spurs. Otherwise it really looks like one of the worst trades in recent memory, Gasol included.Comment

Well there's no way San Antonio is giving up Leonard so its either gonna be Cory Joseph, de Colo or Danny Green. I could see the Spurs throwing Cory Joseph and de Colo in there.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: Chris Broussards Sources tell me Trade Rumors and Discussion Thread
I wouldn't mind the Bulls making the trade. Boozer's January stats are a fluke, in my opinion, and he'll go back to being the same Boozer from the past couple years sooner rather than later. There's no better time to trade him than right now.
Bargnani makes $5 mil less per year and hasn't even entered his prime yet. He's had a terrible season, but I think he can at least be a decent 3-point threat who will stretch the floor for Rose. If Thibodeau can get him to give more effort on the defensive end, he can be just as good, if not better than Boozer.
With Jimmy Butler's emergence over the past few weeks, I think Thibodeau would be comfortable playing him at SG with Bargs stretching the floor from the PF spot. With Butler playing SG right now, the Bulls just don't have enough spacing which would be a problem once Rose comes back. Also, Jimmy's rebounding ability would help make up for the drop-off from Boozer to Bargnani.Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

They're one of the few teams where they can get away with making lateral moves.#RespectTheCultureComment

Well the Jazz should at least get a draft pick and/or a Euro prospect. To just give someone like Jefferson away for basically nothing would be foolish.Comment
