Philly is known with AI, more so IMO than any otehr city

that would be like the Lakers trading Shaq, or the Spurs trading Tim Duncan. I just dont see it happening.

Not P2K, just chipping in my 2 cents.

-I don't think Georgetown fans in the DC area would mind AI in a Wizards jersey (although it'd be crazy to trade him within the division).

It's a business. Some of the greatest players ever have been traded. Patrick Ewing was traded even though he was the face of the Knicks.

I agree, but you want to talk about getting something, how much money do the 76ers get off of AI jerseys. When you say Philly 76ers, people automatically think of Allen iverson.

Im no profession, and I didnt stay at a Holliday Inn Express last night, but I dont think he will get traded

<font color="blue"> You're probably right that he won't get traded. But a lot of people would rather have him work harder or just trade him. You don't have to have the best players to do good all the time. Look @ the Pistons, and team BETTER than us. Philly is known with AI, more so IMO than any otehr city

that would be like the Lakers trading Shaq, or the Spurs trading Tim Duncan. I just dont see it happening.

                              What do you think P2K?

Not P2K, just chipping in my 2 cents.

-I don't think Georgetown fans in the DC area would mind AI in a Wizards jersey (although it'd be crazy to trade him within the division).

It's a business. Some of the greatest players ever have been traded. Patrick Ewing was traded even though he was the face of the Knicks.

I say get something for him while he's still walking and has value. At this injury rate, he won't make it 5 more seasons.

I agree, but you want to talk about getting something, how much money do the 76ers get off of AI jerseys. When you say Philly 76ers, people automatically think of Allen iverson.

Im no profession, and I didnt stay at a Holliday Inn Express last night, but I dont think he will get traded

This is how my mind goes when it comes to sports:

A player's marketability and bringing in of dough only does but so much, especially in a city like Philadelphia. New York wouldn't stand for it. Yankee fans enjoyed championship after championship...yet starve for more championships. Philly sure as hell will not stand for that, let along hardly winning enough championships.

I would trade in and sacrafice the big time sales in jerseys for championships.

If trading Iverson is the first step to that, I would do it in an NY/Philly second.
