Waiters to be a 20ppg game guy yeah right lol. Hes a jackaholic. If he manages to do so his ft percentage will well be under 42 percent. He lost his starting job to C.J. Miles. But I will give you Lillard, Beal and maybe Davis. But cmon MKG He's like a Gerald Wallace to me which isn't bad at all. He's young so there's time to develop his jumper. Henson yeah whatever he played at the end of the season, more than likely against no other teams starting rotation but yeah he's ok. But I still think that last year draft class wasn't all that great in the 1st round compared to a few previous ones like the 2010 1st round.

Well....no. Waiters lost his job initially because he was shooting terrible. Then he was coming off the bench but was playing starter minutes and was shooting much better. He then got the starting role back, but then got injured for the majority of the 2nd half of the season...

Henson has always put up numbers when he got burn, but then, Scott Skiles doesn't like playing rookies. Well, after this subpar season for the Bucks in which they traded Tobias (Oh look, another rookie who had put up numbers when he actually got burn instead of buried on the bench.....) they finally did the right thing and fired Scott Skiles a couple of weeks ago.

On another team I could imagine Henson averaging a double double. Something like 12-13 PPG and 10-11 Rebs with 1.5 BPG. As it is on this team with a loaded frontcout I think he could average 18-20 min subbing in for Illyasova and Sanders.

Late an all but. He went because next year draft is deep and wouldn't improve his stock at all by going back to College.

I think he got a bad rep this year. Streaky shooter and he Improved in attacking the basket alot. Average defensively. I think he'll be a nice find for someone off the bench.

I wish nothing but the best for him.

Exactly Waiters couldnt shoot the ball that well and got his position taken, and he may have gotten better during the season but, I still don't think this guy will be an future all-star.I personally just dont see it in him.

Now Henson I really didnt get to see him play but when i saw highlights of him, he seemed solid. Yeah he does seem like that guy that could possibly average a double double in the future, if he gets his minutes.

But honestly the draft class of last year to me isnt all that great. Im sure it will be the weakest in the next 2 years based off a five year span of 2010-2015.

Then you didn't watch him enough.

He had a stretch, after the all-star break, where he was averaging 20 points a game and doing it efficiently.

Waiters could EASILY average 20ppg in the near future.

Ok I don't care for him. I don't live near or around Ohio too even watch his games enough. It's great that you think he will average 20 ppg. When I did see him play it seemed to me his shot selection wasnt all that great,. Averaging 20 ppg to me is giving this guy praise, seriously he will never be an all star caliber player. Cmon what PG/SG duo are both averaging 20 ppg on the same squad right now? He's not going to average 20 ppg with Kyrie Irving on the team, unless Irving gets hurt. He's solid and does have the potential. I just don't think he can be the guy to lean on offensively. He's good in the isolation not really explosive, but I am not going to discredit him there. Sometimes his shot selection is questionable to me but him and Kyrie Irving won't avg 20 ppg. I like Dion Waiters, but if you think he's going to average 20 ppg in the current Cavs rotation or system or shot selection. Then keep on hoping for it too happen one year.

                    No idea, TBH.

I have heard that tickets will be between $20 and $35.

                      Re: 2013 NBA Draft Discussion

                      Just some rumors....

The Orlando Magic and New Orleans Hornets would both strongly consider trading the rights to the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, according to SheridanHoops.com.

“Sources around the NBA have told SheridanHoops that if the Orlando Magic or New Orleans Hornets win the lottery, they both would be strongly inclined to trade the pick to whichever fellow lottery team wants to pay the most for the right to draft Nerlens Noel.

“The caveat for Orlando is that it does not want to lose out on Ben McLemore of Kansas, whom it covets the most, or Trey Burke/Victor Oladipo as a fallback. And it’s not that the Magic don’t like Noel. Rather, they don’t need him, already in possession of a top-tier NBA center on a rookie contract in two-year veteran Nikola Vucevic. Same with the Hornets and Anthony Davis.

“The 2013 NBA draft lacks elite prospects of years past such as Davis, Kyrie Irving or Blake Griffin, clear top picks regardless of who won the lottery. This year, Noel is the player atop the majority of draft boards but not quite on the same level as those other sure things.”

Noel never struck me as a consensus #1 type of player.

Well UK was a totally different team once they lost out on his hustle and defensive presence. Noticeable difference actually.

So I can kind of see where its coming from when you put him up against who else is coming out this year. Perfect storm for Noel.

Kentucky was a completely different team when he wasn't on the floor, both before and after the injury. I feel he is a better shot blocker than Davis was last year, but he is extremely raw offensively. He has a big motor though and very active hands (averaged over 2 steals a game I believe).
Regarding the quote Ehh posted, Irving wasn't considered a "lock" #1 pick was he? I thought I remembered people saying Williams could be the #1 pick as well?

I liked Anthony Davis' overall skill set much more than Noel's. Noel seems extremely one dimensional and honestly I don't know if he'll even turn out to be a rotational big man. I wouldn't grab him if I had a pick in the lottery. Not to say the lottery is littered with a bunch of legit prospects but I don't know about Noel...

Yes, I liked Davis' overall skill set as well more than Noel's, especially on offense, but Noel is still a very good prospect. He is the better overall defender imo and he showed signs of offensive improvement before the injury.
