because even if you hit 15 in a row thats still only 45 points and you need 85-90 to win. 15 treys in a row mean 15 or so minutes of INACTIVITY for your teammates. Notice the Orlando COLLAPSE in the 2nd half. 8 3's don't mean sh!t in a LOSS. As a matter of fact, they lost the LAST game that he went off from the arc didn't they? Notice a pattern?
MJ didn't win big until he became more of a team player, Kobe WON'T win(post-Lakers), T-Mac won't win, AI won't win until they become more unselfish. Period.

I would think that if he didn't suffer that injury, the Magic would have won. He was hot in the game, nothing wrong with him taking that many when he made his attempts. It may look like he's shutting his teammates out but its also their job to hold on and execute whatever the crock happens.

If T-Mac intentionally tried to shut them out then we have a problem but if you've ever seen him play, he always tries to involve his teammates. It's their job to finish it when they have a chance.

He keeps launchin' em while his teammates gets colder and colder just standing around on offense, and the Cavs win.

T-Mac fans talk about how bad his team is, but Howard started off hot with 6 quick points early. Howard didn't get to SHOOT the ball again until midway through the 2nd. Good job Mack, you just completely shut out a hot teammate. Unless you can score 80+ pts per game, at some point you WILL NEED THOSE TEAMMATES!. When those treys stop falling, where will the offense come from?

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post"> You completely contradict yourself. Why should they feed Howard if he's hot but not T-Mac? He was 8 of 8 from downtown! I'll take a guy nailing threes left and right over Howard who gets a couple quick baskets. I just don't even know what else to say. You say McGrady is a ballhog when he's 8 of 8 for 3 yet you think it's such a crime Howard didn't get the ball because he was hot. McGrady was hotter, that's why he kept shooting and making them. You say it's wrong that they shut out Howard but you're saying that the Magic should have done the same to McGrady even though he was on fire. And it's a bit unfair to put the loss on T-Macs hands because he had to leave in the 3rd quarter.

            Please lay off the haterade.

I thought this was a pretty simple concept, but let me explain...

Lets pretend I'm T-Mac. I see Howard hit a tough shot, so I get it to him again. He hits another nice J, so now he's in a little bit of a groove. Now, I (T-Mac)get a mismatch on a switch so I score. Then I come down and hit a trey. Then another one, so now we have TWO hot guys. I then draw and kick to Howard again and now that he's got a little momentum, he aggressively attacks the rim...scores and 1.

He gives a yell and he's hyped!

(pay attention now, this is the cool part) NOW THE CAVS HAVE TWO GUYS TO WORRY ABOUT INSTEAD OF ONE. NOW WHEN HOWARD GETS THE BALL, HE'S AGGRESSIVELY LOOKING TO SCORE AND THE DEFENSE HAS TO RESPECT HIM. NOW HE'S DRAWS THE D WHEN HE MAKES HIS MOVE. OMG GUESS WHAT? NOW GIRICEK IS WIDE FREAKING OPEN! BECAUSE NOW THE CAVS ARE SCRAMBLING.

Now, I hit another trey because I'm hot too, remember...I AM T-Mac after all...Now Giricek is getting better looks, Lue is getting better looks, Doleac gets a couple of easy buckets, everybody is energized and the DEFENSIVE intensity picks up. Jeez, why is 8 treys a record? Why do you think Bird didn't just fire three after three after three? Or Price? Or Reggie? Please believe, those guys could hit 10 3's in a half easily if they wanted to. Never did or even tried. Because, they UNDERSTOOD THE CONCEPT OF TEAM BASKETBALL. They trusted their teammates and those teammates flourished because of that trust. Its not that complicated. T-Mac, as talented as he is, still needs to learn how to get the best out of his team. Damn.

Damn.
