Looking at the games.... I think he's going to end up like Iggy.
    That's a good comparison.

Best case scenario: A poor man's Scotty Pippen.

Worst case: Iggy with a better 3 point shot

I understand the comparison to Iggy right now with the way he is playing. It's a worse case scenerio to me, he's better than Iggy scoring-wise though. Then consider this for a moment, PG is already a all star in his 3rd year while for Iggy it took 8 years and he's 29.

Totally agree ClutchCity.... His jumpshot and finishing are way better than Iggy. But in the same right. His defense isn't as good as Iggy. I think he could be come a 20-25 point scorer in the league. He needs to cut down on his turnovers. His worst turnover last night was when he threw a behind the back pass to West who wasn't even looking.

Your right, that pass was ridiculous. I want to say he actually reminds me of a young Paul Pierce, but Pierce is a legend in Boston, so some will get defensive about what I think. I know Pierce was an all around player much like George by his 3rd or 4th year. I feel like George is going to become just that in Indiana.

Well if anyone want to get defensive I'll be right with you. Because that is exactly what I thought when I first saw him play. Even his jumpshot form looks like PP. And remember people we are talking about a young PP . I think that would he his "ceiling". He just needs to be a little more consistent in everything he does.

Paul Pierce is actually exactly who I was going to compare him to in my last post, but decided to do away with the comparisons. That is who I feel he could turn out to be though. Definitely not LeBron/Kobe/Durant/CP3 etc. but on that next tier.

Re: Higher Ceiling, Paul George or Kevin Durant

If Paul George can become even a top 10-15 offensive player (and right now he has a long way to go to get to that point), he'll probably be a better overall package than Durant if you consider the fact that he might already be the best perimeter defender in the league (or at least one of the top 3-4 at worst). That said, Durant is the most dynamic perimeter scorer in the league, and today's NBA that is the most valuable skill you can have.

That's a bit of a stretch for me...

Tony Allen is hands down the best perimeter defender in the league, followed by LeBron.

I agree it's a stretch, but I also think it's a stretch to say LeBron is 2nd best. He certainly hasn't helped his case this series with the way PG has played against him. I don't know what the stats are now, but I heard a stat in game 2 that PG was 10-13 for 29 points when guarded by LBJ.

Idk if this has been asked earlier in the the thread but I'm going to ask again since I lost what page I asked in the ECF thread ha but is Paul George what Rudy Gay should have been? I know it's too early to tell since this is George's 3rd year but I sometimes get that feeling Gay should've been somewhere along the lines of this.

IMO Gay is about as good as George right now. PG is better defensively though.

Take Iggy over Deng? If so, by a large margin?

I'd say Yes. Not by a large margin but I'd take Iggy.

also I will not be baited into Paul Pierce comparisons IMO PG still has ways to go offensively to be in that convo.
