Na, I get it dude. You thought they'd finish first in the west. You think highly of them. Not sure what you don't get about that.

If i thought highly of them i would say they will go deep in the playoffs i never said that they will get the best record because other teams like sa and okc dont care about getting best record because they will most likely rest key players the last few games.

Carrabba, as I'm sure you've figured out, I despise the Clippers. I've always thought that as long as Blake/DeAndre were the two bigs, they wouldn't so cause neither of those two can dominate down low. Blake finishes with 7 rebounds and as Reggie pointed at, didn't look like be worked on his post game this summer. DeAndre looked amazing, and I hope he'll play at that level this entire season. Though only one game, does Blake's performance and lack of a post-game (or more so of a "give him the ball on the block and he'll go get you a bucket") concern you? Sure concerns the hell out of me

Every team in the conference has a big question mark or two, so while a concern, depends on how big of question marks you consider that these other teams have

OKC: Westbrook's health, can Serge be a good enough third wheel, depth, coaching
Spurs: Age as usual. Manu fading, Parker playing basketball for like two straight years of basketball year round with no summer
          Clippers: Blake/Jordan in general
Rockets: Will chemistry develop fast enough to compete for a title, Dwight's offense
Warriors: Really just taking the next step, they're pretty complete
Grizzlies: Perimeter offense/creativity. Not sure if Mike Miller, Prince, Allen enough, new coach and new philosophy on offense

This entire season should be fun around these parts. You got so many competitive teams, the field seems even for once so naturally we'll have a wide range of opinions.

I didn't judge him solely on that, He was 3/8, had a bunch of turnovers, his timing on making passes was terrible, the pace while he was in the game was bad as well. Wasn't a good first game for him. He did have a lot of steals however.

Only got to see the first couple minutes of the Heat's defense.

All I needed to see to know the Heat are still hungry.

Will try to watch the full game replay later today.

So proud of my boys last night. Game was epic beginning to end. Eventually we need to start Xavier always been a fan of his since highschool. Also limit Nash minutes as much as possible.

lakers and bench i thought the two would never go together again
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                        Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                        Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

Lakers proved me wrong last night. Good win against a Clippers team that will be really good by the end of the season.

Lakers played with alot of heart and hustle last night. Hopefully they can keep the funk flowing tonight against the Warriors.

Na na... And the Heat won by how much? Mario defense will always keep him in the starting line-up. I don't see why people have a thing against him. Both him and Coles have bad days.

It's only one game. I said it last night. But I'll repeat it again. I don't know about this Bulls. They might be able to win the regular season. They will need one more player to push them over the hump. If teams are just going to trap Rose (especially off the pick and roll). Someone else has to step up and knock down some shots. I lost count how many times the heat trapped someone and then got the Bulls to shoot a jumper.

The Lakers played like the Suns last night. It was nice to see Xaxier finally get some shine. I thought he was done (career wise). I find it hilarious that the Lakers are 5-0 now when playing without Kobe on opening day lol

I also liked the way DeAndre Jordan played last night. It was Blake Griffin who played really bad.

At what point does the Clipper Organization call out Blake Griffin's lack of work ethic?

I don't know about work ethic. All of the really good players in this league workout to improve during off-season. I've seen the small improvement in Blake game. I just don't think he is comfortable with his back to the back yet (especially vs taller defenders). It's almost like Chris Bosh to a point. He has the moves down low. I some of us jump too fast on the "he's not working on his game" thing.

I will say DeAndre Jordan has a better post up game than Blake does right now. I've seen him down low a few times.
