yea, ive never had a problem with his games, so much as ive disliked him as a person. Hes a role player, a spot up shooter and defense guy. No more no less. He really irritates me come playoff time too, cuz he tries to start fights, then wait for lebron and wade to come back him up before he says something. almsot like a "hold me back, hold me back" type situation. I really just don't like chalmers.

Chalmers didn't even have that bad of a game. I just thought (think) Cole ups/fits the tempo for what the Heat want to do as an offense (get out and run and catch the defense slipping in transition for open 3's).
But yeah, by the standard Lebron set he played pretty terrible too. He made some WTF types of decisions multiple times trying to force his way into traffic...not to mention he airballed....Comment

I still think wade is getting old, he didn't look unhealthy out there, but there were some moments where he did look, a little slower, and old.
I do also have to say how funny it is to see people take so much stock into the first game of the season. I know people who were calling the bulls contenders now saying that there not sure if they could make it out of the second round. As well as saying stuff like, hand miami there rings now lol. This miami team had a 27 game winning streak last season and still barely won the finals, nor did even they confidently make it out of the east. The heat will go back to struggling against big teams like brooklyn on friday, they'll lose, or barely win, and then people will go back to questioning if they can 3peat again. and all will be right with the world. As for chicago, they still have to figure out how to implement a rusty derrick rose back into the system without him being responsible for all the possessions. As well as figure out how to make dunleavy work, and once they figure that out in a couple of weeks and get there defense back on track, the bulls will go back to being contenders again.Lakers

All depends on Steve Nash and his LOLDefense. Also, If they can't knock down their shots like they did yesterday I fully expect Steph Curry and Klay are going to shoot them out of the gym.Comment

Probably won't get crazy hot like that again. If we can play with that same intensity though. We can make some noise tonight and going forward.Comment

Nash was just usless on offense yesterday. Just watched the game and I was pretty disapointed with that. He has lost all his agressniveness during the offseason it seems like to me. The old men's game.
Clippers where bad but I'am not worried for them. They're a top 3 team in the west for sure but underestimating you're opponent will do that to you. Their defense was awfull especially in the 4th. Kinda embarassing to be out huslted to the point where a Jonhnson Hill frontcourt outrebounds you.
Theses kids showed heart and love for the game. GG.Comment

There's no telling how the offense will flow until Kobe comes back. The offense may look completely different upon his arrivalComment

Lakers will start out 3-1 and Nick Young will be averaging 29 points on 56% FG shooting, and they will have the highest bench production through 4 games. You heard it here first. >=)
That Washington/Miami game on Sunday is probably the one I'm most excited for. League Pass is free for a week right? While we make our decisions...Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 10/29 - 11/4 Games Discussion Thread
Steve Nash said some "strange" things happened physically to him during Tuesday's game against the Clippers.
The news just keeps getting worse for Nash and his minutes look like they're going to take a nosedive this year. Jordan Farmar looked spry in his return with the Lakers and with the way Mike D'Antoni's system can benefit point guards, Farmar looks like a strong add. Nash owners might want to start thinking about other options, but it's not time to totally cut bait until the details of his injury emerge. He finished with just three points, five assists and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes on Tuesday.

As long as you're aware that judging ANY player by their +/- is the most flawed way to judge them. ANY player.
I don't see how you can logically call any of them "worthless", other than perhaps Nick Young but LOL shot selection.
Steve Blake is probably the most grossly over-criticized player in the entire NBA. I haven't seen a player catch so much hate for basically no reason and get virtually no credit when he performs well. Wesley Johnson is a question mark, he spent time on those Timberwolves squads that had some weird roster decisions and he spent time on the joke of the Suns squad that was last year's team. I think its way too early to call him "worthless". Calling Meeks worthless is laughable at best. When he's hitting he's one of the better shooters in the league. With Williams its tough to say because we haven't seen him play much recently but I think he could provide some good minutes for the Lakers.
And once again, if those guys are so worthless, how did they manage to do that against the new and improved Doc Rivers-led Clippers? Worthless players don't do that, I don't care if it was just one game.
And everyone knows the book on Shawne Williams and there's a reason why he hasn't been able to hold on to a job.
Has nothing to do with his on-court performance though.#RespectTheCultureComment
