i would be in favor of a deadline for 2 years for him to prove something, but tibs doesnt really play rookies unless he has too, so if they get melo for all we know doug could be playing 5-8 minutes a game

I honestly don't ever see Doug as a starter. I think his game is tailored to instant offense, a guy off the bench that brings starter value.. I think he'll be a 6th man of the year candidate multiple times in his career.

Wally was a 2nd option scoring 20ppg in his prime. There is nothing at all wrong with that.

I remember when people said that same thing about Adam Morrison.

But their play style isn't similar at all. Even if he busts out of the league in a year it won't be because he's anything like Morrison.. The only comparison between the two of them is that they are both white.

Which is why all the comparisons he's drawing, and the "unatheltic" comments he's getting are so damn annoying. Why aren't any of these comments made about guys who measure the same as him in quickness, agility, and the vert??????

Agree, though he should be much better than Korver at everything except possibly moving off screens for a shot. Korver is among the best in the league at that though.
