I think Exum settles at the PG in the NBA personally. Agreed on Smart, and I think that hurts him.

but does it? i think it actually helps him because he will find more court time early on due to being able to play multiple positions

I think Smart has potential to be a stud, but it completely depends on what team drafts him. If he falls into a situation like MCW where they give him the keys and let him play through mistakes, I think he could be a very good player, but if a team tries to limit his role he will struggle, at least early on. Orlando beside oladipo, afflalo, vucecic would be a nice fit. Also could see Toronto or Dallas being good fits. He needs the ball in his hands to be successful.

I would be so, so ecstatic to get Smart, but unless we end up with a new coach, he wouldn't develop here. Casey really hampers rookies' minutes and doesn't draw up plays for them (or for anyone, but still), and I dunno how long a leash he'd give Smart. He'd be effective for when Casey decides to do his 2/3 PG lineup thing, but otherwise, we'd need a new coach for Smart to develop. And hopefully we will have a new coach after the tank, lol.

I'll be pretty devastated if Milwaukee finally gets a top 5 pick and we use it on Smart. He's the one guy I do not want.

Embiid did look really good today. His free throw stroke amazes me. The fire in his belly is what I love to see in a big man, you can't teach that. Along with his feather like movement. Can he put it together and become a dominant force? I'm still not sure but right now it's easy to envision him being to the caliber of at least a Roy Hibbert or Brook Lopez. I'm still cautious about him but he was pretty impressive against a decent Georgetown team.

i think he can sore past a hib/lopez because of his freakish athleticism..its like mixing javale mcgee with dwight howard

Don't see that mix. Howard is worlds better than him defensively. Embiid definitely should enter in the conversation for the #1 pick now though.

Randle had an awesome game for Kentucky today. Didn't turn the ball over, and didn't keep going to the spin move which has caused a lot of turnovers and bad shots.

oh i wasnt meaning to say he is dwight defensively, im just talking flat potential here because thats prettymuch all embiid is

a post game, shot blocking, and crazy athleticism
