Re: 2014 Draft Class
they have birch listed, but honestly roscoe has been far and away the best player on the team and shows the most pro potential outside of BDJ.
i mean the guy is averaging a double double leading the nation in rebounding! saw one mock with him going to OKC, id love thatComment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Giovanny watches everything, tons of European ball too, so I'm sure he isn't missing out on Roscoe. Maybe he'll be included during the next update."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Lol that in today's era that he isn't on boards because UNLV games aren't watched that much. if that was the case Anthony Bennett wouldn't have been the number one overall pick last year .

Re: 2014 Draft Class
What's so great outside of Wiggens athleticism ? I mean I think he'll be solid in the NBA for any team where he transitions into a # 1 option after 2 or 3 years, instead of having to his 1st year. His overall defense needs work and he's not great at handling the ball. Jump shot is inconsistent to at times. He's basically all potential reminds me of Wesley Johnson, but you know these blogs and media hype the kid up into some league changing type player.
I mean if he has a high motor to want to improve aspects of his game that are weak. Then that's something different. Whichbin turn matches with the media hype he constantly receives.Last edited by ClutchCity; 01-02-2014, 12:37 AM.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Lets not forget that Wiggins is only 18 years old. I mean LeBron had a lot of those similar knocks at 18. The hype is based off potential. The media always sensationalizes everything in this day and age though...Fan of:

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Please don't bother mentioning LeBron James in the same sentence as Wiggins. James has exceeded expectations at every level of basketball. Keep in mind, LeBron had higher hype than Wiggins had.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Could you imagine if there was twitter/social media when LeBron was in high school? He would have been even more hyped. People were still giving him crap until he won his first ring as well.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Even with all of the criticism that LeBron received, he still dominated everyone and I mean everyone in the pros in the regular season. He just couldn't get a ring.
LeBron came into the league from day 1 and dominated.
I don't see Wiggins doing that on day 1, it's going to take him a while to even get to Paul George's level. He has all the tools to be a fine player but there's no reason right now to put his name and LeBron's name in the same sentence for any reason.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Please don't tell me you think LeBron had a consistent jumpshot or didn't need improvement on defense or ball handling at 18. I'll link you video after video of his senior year games. Wiggins will never be LeBron but he has potential to be a great player.Fan of:

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I absolutely agree Ex. I don't think he'll even get to PG's level (except maybe defensively, I think he has the tools to be the best defender on the wing in the NBA in the future).
I don't think anyone from this class will become a top 5-10 NBA player. Wiggins/Embiid have the highest ceiling, but who knows if they can live up to it. I question how Parker will transition to the NBA defensively against SFs. I think Randle is the most ready NBA player, but he needs to develop more post moves and a mid range game. Smart will likely be a SG in the NBA and that limits his value imo, and Exum is a giant ? atm.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Yeah the hype I agree on with Wiggens. I'm not seeing anything special even when I watched that game where Wiggens squared off with Parker 1st game of the year. I seriously think he wont get to a Paul George level. I really feel like he's all potential like Wesley Johnson. The closet I can give him is a boderliine Rudy Gay. Then again Rudy plays defense and is a scrapper and Wiggens doesn't bring any presence on defense. I realy feel like it's going to take amwork ethic for him to be in the category of the top 10 swingman in the NBA. He can be great, but so far he's good.Last edited by ClutchCity; 01-02-2014, 01:21 AM.Comment
