Re: 2014 Draft Class
Wiggins' agent is saying that picture was a 44 inch vert.
Also, Jordan Adams max vert was 29 inches, AKA slightly better than Andy Katz lol. That's going to hurt.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I considered Doug, TJ, Jabari, all small forwards in the draft.
Payne I'll agree, though his upside is low and he could likely miss the lottery. Austin is a jump shooter. Embiid could be a monster on the block, but he can't face and go or hit jumpers.
Vonleh isn't a dominate scorer but he's already well rounded. Can can post, face and drive, hit jumpers, solid footwork and fakes. Which is why as a post player I considered him among the best offensively. Not saying he'll hit the league and immediately score a ton of points, but already has a great foundation to build from.

Embiid actually has a pretty nice stroke for shooting. I think he's going to be able to stretch his game out eventually.
Vonleh might be able to do all of it, but he's not really proficient in any area. He's got a good 3 point shooting % but he didn't take a lot so it's too early to tell if that will be a part of his game. I do agree he has a pretty good foundation to build on there.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Draft Class
As a Bucks fan I really like Exum. Something about a 19 yr old (will be) 6"6 PG that attacks & a 6"10 SF in Giannis I like!Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
I think it would be a good pick up, so long as there isn't someone with ridiculous upside still available.

Re: 2014 Draft Class
The Bulls are picking like 15 or 16 right? If he falls there it wouldn't be a bad pickup at all, considering the high potential guys like Vonleh will be long gone.
Nik Stauskus keeps getting overlooked imo. For whatever reason people have Gary Harris going 5-6 slots higher than him, and I think Stauskus is going to be the better pro. Harris is a small 2 while Stauskus is a decent sized one and he is a very good shooter unlike Harris.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

As for LaVine I doubt he falls out of the teens. I just don't see someone with so much perceived potential falling that far.Last edited by cavsfan2; 05-17-2014, 06:47 PM.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Class
Assuming they bring in someone in someone to start in Dunleavy's place, Melo, Deng, whoever that instantly gives them a ridiculously athletic line-up.. No reason to just stack more and more athletes when with Rose back all you need is a back up big and players who can play without needing the ball.
Nothing wrong with grabbing a shooter of his caliber, especially since he doesn't need the ball to be effective. Idk how he wouldn't fit in there, unless he just ends up having zero ceiling like Kwame Brown, Adam Morrison, etc.. Which is a risk you have with ANY player you draft.
Nobody knows yet if he's too slow to guard threes he hasn't had that chance, is this your conclusion because he's white? Because he seems much more athletic than Dunleavy or even Korver, I could see him being what Mike Miller is in terms of quickness/athleticism and Mike has never been a liability defensively.. Doesn't hurt any that his coach would be Thibs, who would get max defensively development out of him.

I'm honestly a huge fan of Stauskas. His release is ridiculously quick. Personally I see him being a carbon copy of Klay Thompson in the pros. But what do I know lol

I like Stauskas and LaVine.
LaVine to me has 6th man written all over him. He could come in and back up the PG or SG and give that instant boost in energy and athleticism. If he drops to one of the teams who are already contenders, or on the borderline of being a contender, I think he'll be a gold mine for them.
