    Re: 4/1 - 4/6 Games Discussion Thread

Just tuned into this Pacers game. So bad.. I admit I'm an outsider, but I didn't think it was so bad. I think the East is a growing tossup as we wind down here. If Miami can be tested enough early, someone might get em at the right time.

Not saying it's gonna be the Bulls, but it'll probably be the Bulls 😁

Trust me it has been bad. We are reaching towards blow it up territory at this point. Something has changed inside that locker room. I don't know what, but something happened. There is nothing else that can explain this mess.

Whatever the case, the Pacers have to be cursed lol. Every time we get a good team together it always fails. Usually in spectacular fashion(collapse in 02, brawl in Detroit, this season, etc.).

Paul George slept with Hibberts mom perhaps?

This first half was the worst Ive ever seen a team play. 7 made fgs? 1 assist? 20%?

55-23 Hawks over Pacers at halftime. This has gotta be rock bottom.

Gotta have faith, Pacer fan. They've come a long way, but it is certainly pretty odd. I'm a big believer in late season roster moves being risky business, but could there have been some underlying tension that has been magnified as a result mof such changes? It just seems rather drastic, and initially it seemed almost a little too golden, but damn.

Anyways, time left to regroup. Both tonight and beyond. See how they come out in the second, I Guess.

They came from shutting teams out every game below 89 points to this ?

                RE: Clifford for COY

I think people are really distorting and blowing up the argument. All Cats fans and alike are saying is that he definitely deserves to be in the conversation... he took a team that went 28-120 over the previous two seasons and has them a game above .500 and in the playoffs this year. Shoot, they won 26 games against the East this year, while winning 28 combined against the entire league the two previous seasons. That's a pretty impressive turnaround that deserves consideration for COY, IMO.

I think most acknowledge that the other candidates are very deserving and perhaps more so (Hornacek, Thibs, etc.) but Clifford definitely deserves acknowledgement and consideration.

Paul George did mention something about how they've forgotten how to have fun since Granger and Orlando Johnson were traded. But damn... how does losing a bench warmer and a guy who can't stay healthy result to this? Maybe a few games or something, but at some point you have to be a man, a professional, realize this is a business and ****ing move on. I mean they have to be kidding me if that is really the cause of all this.

All I know is we're beginning to get past the point of no return. We've hit "rock bottom" about 3 times already. When is this going to turnaround.....

Funniest part of it all though.. Vogel STILL won't play Copeland.

There is no way they should only score 23 points in a half. I don't care if they end up scoring 70 in the second half, that is unacceptable for a supposed championship team.

Roy Hibbert has apparently gotten permanently benched. I stopped watching, but I also read that during a timeout Hibbert didn't look at Vogel or what he was drawing up.

Also speaking of him I heard at halftime that he has 5 rebounds through the last 2.5 games. lol. 7'2 starting center who's making 14mil a year.....

81-59 to the Hawks....how the hell is that even possible for this team right now? I so wish they hadn't built up that division lead in the first two months of the year.

The Granger trade affected them mentally and statistically. They're a much worse team with Turner on the floor.

You can't just get rid of the locker room leader like that mid season. One of the first bad moves Bird has made thus far.

I was wondering why he hadn't come in the game. He's talking about some selfish dudes in the locker room and it looks like he's a big part of the problem.

I can't buy that. At least Turner IS on the floor. Granger missed 77 games last season as well as the first quarter of this season. This team has learned how to play without him. You can't tell me that losing him or adding Turner has resulted in a team that went from looking like a title favorite to looking like a team that should be picking in the top 5 of this years draft. We are talking about bench players.

Like I said I can see it affecting them a little, maybe they go on a 5 game slump or something, but there comes a point when you have to move on.

Beyond that statistically Turner has produced almost identically as Granger did with a little more assists. At least that's what the stats said last week anyway.

Dat Roy Hibbert stat line tho
0 points(0-5fg), 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 blocks, 0 steals and 1 TO in 9 minutes. Also, a nice -19 to top it all off.
