Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Via Dan Gilbert himself, Kyrie Irving has agreed to sign the max extension, so Cleveland gets to keep their guy at least. Hopefully he lives up to it.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
May I ask why? It seems like a lot of people are skeptical of him. The only reasons I can think of, are his size or the fact that no one watched Sac last year. He is very talented.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I don't think it's a bad deal considering Kyrie is a fantastic player (or he can be) but when guys like Iso Joe get the max, maybe Klay Thompson I continually think GM's are stupid. These are the same people that give a bunch of people ridiculious deals every year then the owner cry when the CBA is up they aren't making money (that's a different topic though...).Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Size and the fact that's he's more of a shooting guard in a college PG's body. He's fine offensively if you can put him with a SG that distributed or a point forward, but he's not a great distributor and he's a liability defensively.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Which is why I think a pairing with Smart might actually work. With smart being a playmaking SG, like Harden, Monta, Lance.
This only makes sense obviously if Boston decides it's time to officially "rebuild", in which having Rondo isn't a necessity.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Is there any chance NOR would amnesty Gordon? Try to sign someone like Parsons so Reke can spend full time at SG as he requested?
