Man all these Big 3 reports are now getting ridiculously annoying!
    - First there were reports that LeBron wants the max deal starting at $20 million+
    - Then there were reports of Wade and Bosh signing for $12 and $11 million respectively
    - Then their agents denied this claim
    - Now the Big 3 are not on the same page and there are reports of Bosh seeking a 5 year, $90 million contract

    WTF !!!

I wasn't big on Porter when he was being recruited out of high school, and definitely wasn't big on him coming into the draft. But he does have quite a bit of potential so idk.

..because at no point does anyone know what they want, they're all speculating and have no insider information on it.

The Hornets have still not expressed interest in Luol Deng, so guess you can cross off that name.

FWIW, I don't think there's a strong chance Lance Stephenson ends up signing with the Hornets.

Thank god @ the bolded. I love Lance as a player and what he would bring to the table on the court, but he doesn't fit the culture that we are trying to build here.

--as far as porter goes i dont like him. hes got an MKG jump shot and its ugly..he got away with size/athleticism advantages in college but he wont have much of that in the NBA.

glen rice i would be real high on as a wizards fan, the #'s he put up in the d-league 2 seasons ago tells me he can play, atleast more than porter..

also watch out for khem birch and deonte burton in summer league chec^^

Monta is so quick usually it takes small guards to stay in front of him, or teams will just throw their better perimeter defender at him. But if a team makes that choice, then Melo again has the advantage.

I know people laugh at them for being "chuckers" but they both have been pretty unselfish most of their careers. Monta is a pretty underrated playmaker, and I doubt Melo would be allow to dribble the air out of the ball in Dallas. And that's really his only flaw, he doesn't really shoot TOO much, and he's not anti pass either.. You usually don't see him taking to contested shots over a double team of anything, he'll usually swing the ball.

I realise now it's a really longshot for the Lakers to get Melo. Very unlikely, my appologies guys.

When you think about it if Melo wants to win Dallas is very interesting. Great organisation, Dirk Nowitzki still balling, great coach and they took the champions to 7 game in the playoffs.

I'd say Chicago and Dallas offer the more chances of winnings for Melo. I don't see it in Houston with McHale. I don't even the big three 'meshing' well there.

For a player who scores in the high 20's he just doesn't take so many shots that it hurts his team.

On his career he and Durant take the same number of shots per game, and this past season he only took half a shot more per game than Durant did.

Obviously he's not quite as efficient as KD but he's been a part of pretty crappy offenses, yet still not chucking up a ridiculous amount of shots. Despite being the only big scoring threat on his team he isn't playing like Kobe when the Lakers were down, Iverson when he was the only big option, instead he's right on par with Durant and Aldridge. Which isn't bad considering who his teammates were this year, I woulda been chucking 25+ attempts a game lol.
