I wonder what Larry Drew is thinking right now.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
You can say what you want about Kidd as a coach, but in the very least, Milwaukee's new owners aren't messing around the way Herb Kohl did. They mean business.
If this move backfires, the draft picks won't kill us. But if it works out, this could be a huge move for the franchise.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Before the media made it such a huge deal about how he didn't know they were interviewing Kidd, most people thought he pretty much knew he was going to be fired. I really don't think it's a big deal.
Hell, just last year, the Hawks interviewed and hired Budenholzer while telling Drew they might be interested in giving him an extension.NFL: Bills

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Dirk puttin up numbers like it's nothing still, 22 and 50% shooting and still leading his team to the playoffs. That's a superstar, he probably has one year left of being at that level.Comment

As for trying to spin this to be okay because "he pretty much knew he was going to be fired." When? Next season? We're well past the point coaches typically get fired, you know when everybody else fired their coaches. If he was going to be fired, why didn't they do it already? He still has a job right now technically. This isn't okay man.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Time will tell.
It's two different teams, Nets were win now, Milwaukee is rebuilding.
Maybe he works better with younger guys vs people that he played against and closer in age to him.
Plus, the bottom line, he's better than what we have now.
Back in the early 90's, the Bucks paid a ransom for Mike Dunleavy Sr to the Lakers, I think a 1st round draft choice was included. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Seems like Kidd and the Bucks organization deserve each other.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

The media made it a huge deal? Dude it's always a huge deal when a team is interviewing coaches while they already have one.

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
This word superstar....what does it mean anymore? It gets tossed around so much I don't think people really know or respect what its all about. If a player isn't a top tier talent that a team can use as a center piece for making title runs then he isn't a superstar. Bottom line. Guys like Chris Bosh are not superstars. James Harden, not a superstar (even though he and Bosh aren't on the same level). We know superstars when we see them, their obvious, they stand out. KB, LBJ, TD, KD ect.Last edited by Scofield; 06-30-2014, 10:29 AM.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Threadp
Al Jefferson threw up 22 and 50% shooting, while also averaging 10 rebounds a game but he's not a superstar? He's a star no doubt and a heck of a post player but not a superstar.Comment
