Man, even if you're failing at first, I just can't see where bringing in a new coach year in and year out is ever going to be all that successful.. And so many teams seem to do that.

I wish the Nets had kept P.J. as head coach.

Then they can just let him go? What exactly is the downside?

Larry Drew has reportedly been fired. That came out of left field.

He already turned down an extension. I like Bradley, I really do. Improved offensively, defense has never been an issue, but he isn't worth the type of money he will receive elsewhere. At least not for the Celtics in their current state. Safe to say Bradley is gone unfortunately.

Well, the Bucks are under brand new ownership. Usually, when there is new ownership, they bring in new people and clean house.

I'd give this more "thumbs up" if it would still under Herb Kohl's leadership.

I'm still not extremely pleased how the new owners handled this, but I'll also see how it plays out.

Bucks have a new stadium to start plans for building in three years mandated by the NBA. Hopefully, Kidd would help sell that better than Drew??

I'd be shocked if Drew didn't see the writing on the wall when the new owners came in considering pretty much everybody expected Drew and Hammond to get the can shortly after the draft took place. It sounds like Hammond's just might be safe for the moment, but Drew being fired isn't really shocking news. The "usual timeline" kinda goes out the window when the new owners got to Milwaukee about a month ago.
Then they should have gone ahead and fired Drew. You don't negotiate to bring in the guys replacement while the guy is still in your employ. I'm sorry, but you don't conduct business like that.

agreed. i love what hes shown, he plays great @ the 2 with rondo at point. but hes going to get alot of money, and hes not worth anymore than 5-6 because hes always getting hurt and now with smart and young on the roster.

So I know we don't have Hawks fans here, but apparently Drew threw Woody under the bus before to get his job in ATL, and now Kidd comes in under new ownership over him.

They should've just fired the dude, but its a chance Kidd gets through this unscathed.
