Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Not really going to blame Bryant for Pau losing his sack. Now DanPhony on the other hand...
Again though, can that frontcourt get away defensively?Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
He could still be a very useful player in a different system. If he decided to care about winning again Dallas and the Spurs would be ideal. Passing systems with other scorers who can carry that burden. Defensively though, Carlisle would have to inspire him.
This series took Pau's soul.. had nothing to do with Bryant

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Pau will drive Pop crazy on defense. He will not be able to defend like they do. What fits the best guys like Pau or Dirk is a Tyson or a De andre behind them. They don't need another dude who wants to shoot mid range jumpers and post up the elbows.Comment

I just think cultures that great can change people and fit most players in, especially with Pau's skill setComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
If Pau was 30 and healthy I'd agree with you but he will be 34 next season and he isn't in great shape.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Thing is he won't be depended on like a 30 year old. So I think that age doesn't matter as much going into a team like Dallas or the Spurs or Heat...Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I swear the NBA has one the dumbest front offices in all of sports. Bad coaches snatch up jobs. Good coaches don't have jobs for years.

Well, coming as a shock to no one, Rudy Gay is exercising his 19.3 million dollar option for next year.
