I think Houston should look more to their coach and lack of anything resembling defense from Harden.

I really like Parsons, I think he'll only continue to improve. I think they are missing a piece but not sure they need a Love type caliber player. Houston seems to have good chemistry and I'm not sure I'd want to blow that up to bring in Love.

Admittedly I haven't watched many T-Wolves games so outside of the headlines and press praising Love I don't have any good basis to judge him on. I just don't want to see Beal leave.

Webster should play better than he did in the playoffs. I don't think he's as good on D as Ariza, but his shooting should be better next year. His 3-pt shoot was way off - under 20% I believe.

I'm not sure what's going to happen with Otto. I know he's young and was a high pick, but what's his fit long-term? Is he going to stretch the floor with his shot or just drive and shoot close shots?

I'd like to see Rice Jr pop back up after his D-League stint. *warning 2k world colliding with real world* I actually had him coming off the bench in 2k and getting great results, but he injured himself for the season. Same difference right?

Let Ariza walk and anybody that thinks the Wizards are in deep trouble for letting him walk...well, lol.

Do not be fooled by Contract Year Ariza. He did this in LA and he's doing it again...let him walk.

i think porter is going to be stuck in the derrick williams zone, but without any form of 3pt shot unless someone fixes his form

Also, do you have a link? The only thing I've heard is that they said they don't want to trade him before the draft.

Kevin Love may want out of Minnesota, but Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor expects the All-Star forward to be with the team next season.

                Thanks.

So yeah, like I said, he has to say that or it will squander Love's trade value, and he's probably being at least partially honest. Their "plan" isn't to trade him. Their plan is to ideally keep him, but my guess is that they'll end up trading him anyways. Just seems dumb to let him go for nothing when he's made it clear that he won't resign.

The only way that I can see him staying is if they win a top 3 pick tonight and or acquire another star to play with him.

They can get by without him having much of a 3pt shot considering they've already got guys who are very good in that category.

Prior to him getting hurt in the offseason and missing all of Preseason/Camp, he was on his way to becoming a starter on there. Replacing Ariza's production/presence won't be a difficult thing to do on this team.

Ehh, depends on what type of Offers they receive. I wouldn't blame them if they did let him walk and got nothing in return though.

from what were being told im not sure anything can be done to keep love in minny. ive seen speculation hes still mad at the front office for not giving him the 5th year, and think he just wants to go to a winning franchise

I'm sure all of that is true, but still not enough if they won't pay him what someone else will. Gortat will be their #1 priority, as he should be. The only way they can afford both is if Ariza swallows his pride which hasn't been willing to do so far in his career.

I want him back too, but wouldn't go crazy over it. It is great in his role but he's still just a role player. Maybe Otto steps up (this year should be looked at as a wash for him, we still have no idea how good/bad he could be), Webster could easily fill Ariza's role with a stronger presence behind him. He's solid on defense, long and can shoot the 3. He isn't as consistent as Ariza was this year but neither was Ariza before this year. And they could bring someone else in. That swing big SG/SF position is probably the deepest of all spots in the NBA.

Not knocking him or anything, I like his game a lot and he consistently puts up great numbers.

Just trying to put it in its proper perspective. Have the TWolves spoke on Love? What's their stance on it? They really don't have much trade leverage here.

I don't think this argument holds as much weight as many give it. Unless you're guard or scoring defensive center, even a top 5 player can't be expected to carry a team with little to no help. I'd argue that Rubio is the 2nd best player on the team and his value drops significantly if you take away his passing ability... but he's got little to pass to, so I wouldn't expect much from them. Then throw them in a stupidly stacked western conference and I'm not surprised they haven't had much success.

Does he average 25 and 15 on a team with more scoring options? No, but what comparable player averages 25 and 15 if put in his place? Throw in 4 assists and a 40% 3pt shooting percentage. He deserves his hype.

I do agree though that he's not going to carry a team to a championship. He's a great piece for a team but not someone to completely build around. But it's all relative, right? Is there more than one PF in the league right now that you would build around? Unless we include Duncan who's got a foot out the door, I'd say no.

If chicago goes after love. Who would they have to trade for him? Would boozer, heinrich and maybe dunleavy be enough for love, and possibly one of minny's shooters like budinger or barea. Speaking of which, is chicago keeping augustin.

Don't know if help is the right word since they acquired those players through smart planning and stayed competitive through the whole building process. Really impressive they pulled all that off.

I want to see the best teams possible. Harden/Love/Howard would be a fantastic trio, I'd like to see that happen. Love and Howard especially should fit very well together. Love spaces the floor, Howard makes up for his defensive deficiencies, and they rebound like madmen. Sounds entertaining to me. I've never been one to denounce the "superteams", I enjoy them. This would be another elite team that would have a little different dimension because there isn't really another top player like Love.

Neither Dunleavy nor Boozer would be a part of the package. Boozer would be amnestied and who the hell wants Mike Dunleavy? lol

IF it were to happen, it would most likely be both of our picks, Gibson and Snell or the rights to Mirotic.

This is without looking at the numbers.

I only figured boozer because minny would want something in return at pf for there re-rebuilding process and boozer would fill a spot, plus dunleavy still hits consistently enough to be serviceable. Though i expect boozer to just get amnistied, i figured they throw him out as bait to see if minny would bite. That way chicago would be able to give up as little as possible, and minnesota understanding that without love, they wont be good for sometime would take boozer just cuz someone has to play power foward, and they dont have much to lose anyway. Plaus in my scenario i forgot a bulls pick
