Melo waiting on Miami makes sense, but if the Heat want him, why not just sign him, and forget about waiting on Bosh. If they are just trying to wait for him to leave on his own that's way more disrespectful than just offering Melo his spot.

Melo wouldn't sign with Miami before LeBron re-upped there. Really everything is holding up on LeBron at this point, not Bosh.

I kinda think theyre waiting on Bosh. Dont the Big 3 still have cap holds on Miamis books? If so that would mean nothing of substance can be done until Bosh makes his mind up. That money isnt there unless Bosh takes Houston's deal. If the plan is really Melo to Miami then nothing can move until Bosh makes up his mind or Bron takes a huge paycut (not happening)

I see the Melo to Miami as a possibility but I have doubts bc multiple people including woj were reporting that Chris Bosh is waiting on LeBrons decision before he makes his. If that's the case then we would all assume if LeBron stays so does bosh and vice versa. Also I think the reason the Big 3 were so successful in the first place was boss's willingness to take a backseat. I feel like if Melo goes to NY the offense is gonna run like the thunder. Where one possession it's "here Melo you score" and the next its "here Lebron make something happen". I think Bosh is also a much better defender than Melo.

Does Bosh have a standing offer from Miami? I've heard about him taking a pay cut to stay in Miami but I don't know if anything has officially been offered in terms of years/money.

Wasn't there a report about the money and the years?

They have around 2M left in cap space and that's it. But 14 roster spots are already taken too. They're looking at a backup big man and that's really it at this point. Even if they were interested in Bosh and Bosh wanted to return, Raptors would need to get rid of Fields/Hayes(which is around 13M combined) along with probably Patterson or Amir, just to be able to afford what Bosh would want.

No I mean they're in an understanding that bosh would definitely have to take a paycut to stay. I think they're waiting for LBJ before they start deciding numbers and how big the paycut will be. Some people were throwing around numbers around 15 mil a year (don't remember if they were sources or like most just "sauces")is what I remember hearing. If that was true that would be a 28 million loss for Chris bosh....that's hard to pass up lol

It's official. LeBron can complete the ultimate redemption story. It should be a fun season.

Bosh has to go to Houston now. Right?
It's crazy that now Miami is in rebuilding mode.
