What an awesome exchange over a writers comments on Boozers position.

That's how you know when someone's joined the Lakers lol.

Still egregious. Slightly less egregious, but still egregious.

I know summer league means nothing, but he doesn't look like an NBA starter just yet.

It's not like the Lakers are going anywhere though. They should be prioritizing his development.

Dre had nothing to do with the LA Times writer saying Boozer is penciled in to starting at small forward lol. All he did was copy exactly what the article said

Lol all that stuff for nothing. I know 23 has nothing to do with the writer, was just stating that it's not exactly what's wrote on the website. I've never accused anyobody of anything.

            Oh well.

Perhaps he would develop better fighting for a starting spot rather than being tossed into the fire every night though.

Meh, true, that's probably best left to those getting paid to make those decisions. Hopefully if he earns it they won't stubbornly keep Boozer starting.

                  Here's what it says though

Boozer is penciled in as the Lakers' starting small forward. He will be in the final year of his contract and will be paid $13.5 million by the Bulls.

This is from the article directly

The Lakers are getting closer to hiring their third head coach since Phil Jackson left their sidelines in 2011, engaging in negotiations with Byron Scott, according to a person familiar with the situation.

                      Definitely..

I could see them actually giving more minutes to Randle than Boozer, but bringing him off the bench so the bulk of his minutes are against the opponents bench forwards.

Yes wich isn't the same as that :

Boozer is penciled in as the Lakers' starting small forward, although he has played power forward throughout his 12-year NBA career.

But whatever, I'll leave it at that.

"wow he's really looking in peak form"

"looks like back in his Utah days"

"where was this defense in Chicago"

"Bulls paying most of his salary and now he decides to play defense"

                            Imagine?

To me it looks like they added that to make it sound like a simple journalist mistake (small forward instead of Power forward) was less likely. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
