It's going to be Wiggins, Bennett and a 1st. There will be other pieces, including a guy like Berea, but nothing substantial.

I've made my piece with it. I want Kevin Love, and the time is now to get a title. Sucks cuz I really like Wiggins and his personality, but it was never in the cards.

Mo Williams is going to Cleveland obviously. That's why he signed with Minnesota.

Good for him. I love his game and he does have a spot in this league, just looks like he needs to get back on his feet for a year or two.

I remember I felt really bad for Wiggins when the LeBron talk started.... But I made peace with that. Because I thought Wiggins would be playing in LeBron shadow. But now with all this Love talk. I feel bad for Wiggin again... He's going to play on the TWolves... What about Ricky Rubio? Has that plan fallen out. I guess Zach LaVine is the next best thing.

Well this isn't that surprising because he wasn't in the NBA last year either.

Not only this past season but even his rookie season compared to Klay last year. The same Klay that many of you feel just earned himself a max contract.. Waiters arguably could even have more potential as a primary scorer. He's a year younger, he handles the ball better, can pass the ball better (though he's often shoot first mindset), creates his own shots better, gets to the hole better, and gets himself to the free throw line twice as much.
The majority of us don't think he's worth a max contract actually so I'm not sure where you got this from.

Well now I will have no guilt in robbing Minnesota of LaVine or Wiggins in 2K15. They'll leave Minnesota soon enough anyway. WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL QC ONE OF YOU GUYS.

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone mentioned that the Wolves were trying to trade for Thad Young, even back before the draft as a contingency for when Love left.

Ran a quick Trade Machine (Don't want to open that can of worms, but whatever.

                    Cleveland Cavaliers Trade:
                    Anthony Bennett
                    Dion Waiters
                    J. Lucas III

                    Minnesota Trades:
                    Kevin Love
                    JJ Barea

                    Philadelphia Trades:
                    Thadeus Young

                    CLE GETS:
                    Kevin Love

                    Minny Gets:
                    Thad Young
                    Anthony Bennett

                    Philadelphia Gets:
                    JJ. Barea (expiring)
                    Dion Waiters (apparently want him)
                    J Lucas III

I know that there would be picks aplenty changing hands from Cleveland, but it's about the only way I don't see Wiggins leaving. Wish it weren't the case.

Where would having Love, LBJ and Kyrie on the books as max players put CLE long term? I'm honestly not completely sold on pulling the trigger on Love. You'd have a top heavy offensive team (excluding the bench which I'm assuming would be bad to mediocre) with not a single player with a defensive identity outside of LBJ. I'd make the move but right now I wouldn't feel great about it.

It'd put them in a bind, no doubt. Regardless of the new TV, LBJ will probably want Max, I don't see the new TV deal changing the cap THAT much. Kyrie is maxed, Lebron is maxed, Love will want to be maxed. We will have no flexibility period. It'd be Miami Heat Part 2.

I don't feel great about Love at all. I think long term, it's one of those things that the Cavs are going to really regret. I talk to a lot of my friends in Cleveland, and they're hyped about the possibility of winning 1 Championship... when ultimately, if you see how the team gels, and grows together, you've got the possibility of many championships down the road if these picks develop into even 3/4 of what they should.

And something I didn't think needed to be mentioned (but I see championship talk coming up more) but the Cavs are NOT winning the championship next year, whether they get Love or not. Too many moving parts, new coach, new system for everyone, etc... there are more moving parts than when the big 3 went to Miami. So the money that would need to be paid Love for the following season will effect the pieces they'll be able to put around them.

Why does Lebron now want max $$$ now, where the formula for his championship success would require him to take a paycut? If I were Kevin love that would be a red flag for me.

Oh, no doubt. I don't see them winning a chip with those 3, regardless. It's going to be EXTREMELY difficult to win 1 this year. Everything would have to fall into place perfectly, and that's just not Cleveland basketball , or Cleveland sports in general.

I have a ton of faith in Blatt, I'm not worried about that, but if you give up all of your depth for Love, you have no defense, it's not happening. All of my friends are all aboard the hype train of a big 3 meaning championship immediately. They aren't thinking straight. Granted, it means a lot to have Lebron back, but it doesn't equal championships without a solid system, solid teamwork, defense (both individual and team), and solid role players. If you give up depth, you give up solid role players, you give up defense... you aren't winning a championship.

We'll see what happens. If the Cavs give up Wiggins, they better be getting Dieng in return. That's the ONLY way I give up Wiggins, and even then, that's a gamble. I watched Dieng a lot at U of L, and was a big fan. A defensive big, with Lebron's passing skills, Love's continuous shooting from the stretch 4, I'd be pretty happy with.

I want them to keep Wiggins for the record. Let's see what these guys can do without trading for Love for one season.

Unless Cleveland is worried they may not land him in the off season if they don't aquire him now via trade.
