Kevin Love is no slava medvedenko, but I'm coming around to the idea.

Ho hum, I guess I'll just have to settle for a probably perennial 50+ win seasons for the next 6 years and being the favorite for the Eastern Conference rep in the Finals.
Yeah crushed was the wrong word, but when you compare what the wolves got with other recent trades involving superstars with expiring contracts, it's clear that the wolves got far more than they deserved

I'm not saying the Cavs got crushed in this trade, merely that they got crushed in the negotiating process.

lol, it's funny reading some sites and they're trying so hard to be the first one to "officially" break the news of the Love-Wiggins deal. Everyone already knows it's happening and who's going where, but it's not officially official yet, and some sites/stations out there are trying to be the first to be official lol.

Cavs are obviously much better short-term with the deal than they would've been otherwise. I think the point is that Minnesota had no leverage and managed to get a pretty huge haul.

Cleveland obviously looks great now but gotta give props to Minnesota for some clutch dealing.

Minnesota will be a fun team to watch this year, although they're probably heading for another lottery pick. It may look something like this (?):

                    Pekovic/Deing/Turiaf
                    Young/Bennett
                    Wiggins/Buddinger/Brewer/Hummel
                    Martin/LaVine/Muhammed
                    Rubio/Barea/Williams

Young and Rubio are going to be rfas, so any cap space they gain from expirings or trying to move Martin will be eaten up.

He's not a defensive guru, but I've never seen him do that to pad his rebound numbers. KLove ability to rebound the def glass comes from is ability to box out. You can't do that if you're not near your man.

Most his stat padding comes from the offensive glass from all those tips to himself before the ball finally goes in.

Cavs are gonna be an elite elite offensive team next year ... but that defense is gonna need some work

I dont think defense will be that big of an issue for us. Love and Kyrie are question marks as of now defensively but we can still possibly have a solid defense. Look at who we had on previous teams, was more about team defense rather than individual. A culture change as well should be big as well.

Really wish Cleveland could have landed at least something other than just Love.. Wroten from Philly, Brewer/Turiaf/Dieng/Barea from Minny, just something.

Dieng would have been a huge get, TBH. That kid showed flashes of being a legitimate starter and maybe even an elite center. I wonder if the Wolves will experiment with play Dieng and Pekovic together in certain match ups?

Wroten could have helped as a good defensive 3rd guard/combo guard, too. His lack of shooting could have been an issue, though.

I think the rest of those players wouldn't have helped as much.

The T - Wolves are going to be an exciting team for League Pass owners. Wiggins and LaVine are going to be having some crazy "dunk contest" esque moments through the long season.
