Every team ain't the Spurs though, man lol

Or even the Mavs, who also do a good job in that department over the years.

Heat may be on their way...bombed with Beas and Oden but stole some magic from Rashard Lewis & Chris Anderson..

I mean hey, Shannon may end up not even leaving the bench...I'm just a never say never guy I guess...maybe b/c I am Spurs fan, lol

Drew Gooden on the Wizards, Birdman for the Heat, CDR for the Bobcats, Diaw for the Spurs (last season), Lee for the Grizz, Plumlee for Phoenix, Livingston for the Nets, Jones/Lewis for Miami in the playoffs.. Happens more often than you think, especially when they have great players around them.

Great? No, but 2nd best in the league at his position.

I disagree with this. The Wade that showed up in the playoffs was nowhere near the second best SG in the league (as bad as that position is).

I complained about him all playoffs long, so I'm not going to completely argue against what you're saying..

But technically by your argument Joe Johnson should probably be labeled the best SG in the league, I think we can all agree that's not the case. Also by your logic John Wall wouldn't be a top 5 PG, so definitely not 2nd best, and Blake and LA would be giants leaps ahead of Anthony Davis.

Also Wade didn't particularly have a bad playoffs, he had a bad finals.. The first three rounds weren't much difference from Wade from the first championship, with more efficient shooting.. His defense against SA looked rough, and against Joe Johnson it looked rough.

Though I'm not sure why I was even asked if Wade was still great. I'm by no means, or never have been, a Dwyane Wade fan. When those rankings were being discussed on here I defended Wade and said if he could stay healthy he would still be the best SG in the league, but that wasn't based on anything that happened last season or last playoffs, but rather the previous two years. As those rankings came out before last season even started.

Wade's inability to stay healthy and be able to no longer be "the guy" is what hurts his status more than anything. He's still among the best scorers, is the most efficient scorer, had been playing both ends, among the better playmakers, he just isn't healthy.. This year with the team being Bosh and Wade's rather than LeBron's we should get a better idea of where Wade is at. Though I would expect DeRozan, Beal, Klay, Lance to all take another leap forward. And Wade is in the decline stage now as he'll turn 33 this year, even if he would have never been injured.

The first three series for Wade were actually pretty solid

Wade is still the 2nd best SG for me behind Harden (sadly, he's the best) ... not sure where to rank Kobe bc of the uncertainty

Leandro Barbosa has agreed upon a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors for the veteran minimum.

Barbosa played 20 games last season with the Phoenix Suns.

Barbosa received initial interest from the MIami Heat as well.

Against San Antonio, actually he probably could have. Simply because he could probably stay in front of Manu better, and would space the floor better for LeBron.

That doesn't make him a better player though. I'd almost always rather have Wade in any playoff series because he can attack the defense, makes plays for others, and gets himself to the free throw line.. Klay still hasn't even consistently shown the ability to create for himself, but he's a great shooter.
