I'll agree with you on that one Dynasty4Kobe. Everyone likes to overreact after a big play happens that puts a player on pestedal and compares him to another.
To say this once again, Jordan is Jordan. He is one of the greatest if the greatest player of all-time and Kobe still has to catch up to his six rings.
If anyone doubts that check out the Chicago Bulls Dynasty DVD Box Set (I know...shameless plug) and watch those finals and tell me that Kobe is better than Jordan.
If only Portland drafted him.......Comment

People complain about Kobes amount of shots but I seem to remember nights that Jordan would take 40 shots or more. Lots of people remember Jordan in the championship years but I remember when they were losing in the playoffs and he would go 1 on 5 all the time. Granted he did not always have all star teammates but Pippen and Grant were good players.
I know all the Jordan lovers will attack me. I agree he was the greatest player I have ever seen but he was not perfect as many people seem to remember. Yes, I am a little biased as Isiah Thomas was my all time favorite player. Just my opinion on the subject.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Prior to Pippen and Grant maturing into very good players, the Bulls had no other option but for MJ to take over games. There's a reason Doug Collins (the Bulls coach in the late 80's) called the Bulls offense the Archangel Offense--when sh*t got tight, they said "Michael, save us".Comment

Shaq's rookie year in the Orlando Magic makes that team a playoff contender that can challenge even the Bulls or Pacers. In fact Shaq on his rookie year, he can go head to head with either Olajuwon, Ewing and David Robinson any given night. And those 3 players I mention are not just veterans, they are 3 of the best Centers of NBA's history.Though he was put to silence by Olajuwon on the finals.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Shaq used to get OWNED by those guys in his rookie year. He didn't even make the playoffs in his rookie year, so to say the Magic that year would challenge the Bulls is a stretch.Comment

Jordan before retirement #1 was one of the best rebounding guards(excluding Magic) in the history of the NBA. He could rip anybody he wanted to at any given time.
Just rent "Come fly with Me" and you will never make a Jordan-Kobe, Vince, T-Mac comparison again...

No need to rent it, I have it. And to say Jordan can rip anybody anytime he wanted to, I suggest you check the Iverson clip where he breaks Jordan's ankle.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
And the Bulls won that game and Jordan had 30+ points. Iverson was like 1-7 versus Jordan prior to MJ's second retirement.Comment

Not to mention Joe Dumars who owned Jordan in the late 80's.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
You MUST be high. Dumars didn't own sh*t. The Pistons AS A TEAM guarded Jordan well--and he STILL regularly dropped 40+ points on them. One-on-one, Dumars was no match-up for Jordan. He had A LOT of help from the other Pistons, especially Rodman and Salley.
Some of you guys must have started watching the NBA in the late 90's.Comment
