      Re: SHAQ ACCEPTS TRADE!!!!!

If the deal goes down as, Grant-Butler-Odom for Shaq, it makes me think, who is going to play for the Miami Heat next season?

PG- Wade, SG- Jones, SF- Rasual Butler, PF- Udonis Haslem, C- Shaq? Would that be it? It is decent, and has a good mix of veterans and young kids, but the question is, who will come off the bench? Rasual and Haslem would have to move to starting roles, Rafer Alston left to Toronto, so who does that leave? Malik Allen? Matt Freije? The HS kid Wright? The bench would look to be quite weak.

But I'm sure they would add a few guys, I mean I would want to be a role player on a contending team if I were a free-agent.

I think the Heat should do this 100%. You give up Grant and his huge contract. I wish they didnt give up Odom but if they have to it's fine with me. I wouldn't give up Grant, Odom, and Butler, but I would give up Grant, Odom, and 1 or 2 1st round picks. With Shaq being double or triple teamed, Jones will hit 3s all day. Jones cannot create his own shot but if he can get a pass and be wide open he is deadly from anywhere. These 1st rounders are gonna be 20th or later. I wouldn't trade Caron Butler for 3 1st rounders past the 20th pick. I hope they do this because I'm a huge Heat fan and I think it would greatly help Jones as well as everyone else. If the trade gets done I'll see you at the Triple A for the finals.

                  Re: SHAQ ACCEPTS TRADE!!!!!

Brian Grant is pretty useless nowadays though he hustles a lot, like Horace Grant.
Lamar Odom is a pretty decent player.

Caron Butler is overrated. He did jack in the playoffs shooting some horrible FG%.
38% FG, 18% 3pt and he is prone to injuries.
His regular season stats arent that impressive either.

With this trade, Miami lost some youth and talent with Lamar gone but they get a big man who will dominate the East.
Shaq had to give up the ball and shot less this year due to Payton, Malone and ball-hog Bryant.

Now Miami needs to go pick up a SF to complete the team.
