Timmy isn't done yet. He's sticking around to help prepare Aldridge to replace him next year.

IDK, I get the feeling Duncan is going to stick around for a couple more years, as is Manu. Duncan has looked great all season, no reason for me to believe he's done.

I'll be that guy... 24 I hope they **** ya'll up tonight. You've had too much success for 16-17 years while the rest of us have had to be humbled multiple times.

Time for you to be humbled and Duncan and crew put to pasture like they did Old Yeller.

As well as none of their key guys as banged up as the Spurs. Give you credit man you had a lot more faith in these Clips then I ever would.

Yeah the athletic bigs are hurting them, which is what I assumed would happen before the series started but not to this degree. I feel like the Spurs struggle against front courts that can out physical them or are more athletic than they are.. Memphis's duo has given them problems, Howard has given them problems, Ibaka gives them problems, and now the Clippers.. They have very smart and defensively sound big men, but struggle with athletic and physical guys.. Part of the reason Bosh always looked like **** against them.

Also they struggle when a guard can break down their defense and CP3 is doing a great job of that. They have kind had that issue for years as Parker was never a defensive stopper but they have always been able to make up for it with some of the best defense in the league.. The problem even though they have great help D is they almost willing give up the middle of the lane. They will bait teams into taking that shot while electing to defend the rim.. Chris Paul is exploiting that big time, and anytime they do try to cover it he lobs up it up to the freak Jordan. I think he's been an even bigger mismatch for them than the big guys are, he's pretty much the perfect player to exploit their defensive strengths.

Also I feel like the Kawhi advantage is minimized.. He's a great defender against those ISO heavy players, especially with the great help behind him.. He's the perfect defender for a guy like Harden, Durant, LeBron, etc.. But the Clippers don't rely on a solid wing scorer and the advantage Kawhi gives their defense doesn't have the impact it would against other teams. I also feel like he's a better on ball defender than off, as he has lost JJ a few times running off those screens. Luckily for the Spurs JJ has missed a lot of those looks throughout the series.

But I never expected Blake to be averaging 24/13/7 with about 2 blocks and 2 steals a night. He's surpassed my expectations and so far has probably given the best all around performance of any player in this yeas playoffs.

If the Clippers do win this series I don't think they will win another one. Houston can take away their stronger areas, as they have answers for the athletic big men and the Clippers don't have an answer for Harden. I don't really like their odds against Memphis or GS either if they do squeeze by Houston, which is why I said before this series started that this might actually have been the ideal matchup for them even though San Antonio is a much better team.

Realistically I could see his being one of those nights Spurs win by 20+... They should have had game 6 though, no way that game should have been tied at half.
