Im not sure who you're trying to convince but one things for sure you didn't come in here to talk about the offseason, so thats where my biggest problem lies.

I did talk about the off season. I originally said I thought Jordan was a good upgrade over Tyson, directly relating to the off seasons discussion going on since Jordan just happened to sign with Dallas. If that's not on topic idk what you would consider on topic.

You asked me how, I explained, and we argued back and forth. You were just as off topic as me, and technically the one who started all of this discussion anyways.

Cavs apparently showing interest in Stuckey.. Hopefully that means no more JR Smith.. But not sure how he's a great fit, I didn't think he was that great of a shooter unless I'm mistaken.

Damn I see Dre has already determined that DeAndre is going to be absolute **** next season and therefore the Mavs are going to be absolute ****. Cool guess I don't need to watch this season see y'all a year from now.

For real though Dre chill out with hyping up Tyson. Keep in mind that when Tyson wasn't on the floor last year there were times that we were playing Dirk at the ****ing 5. So obviously the difference in defense rating with him on and off the court is going to be massive. Not to mention, we don't even know what players are going to be playing with him yet! All this speculation about how the offense is going to be (all across the internet, not just here) is quite ridiculous to me. Also, I see plenty people talking about how we don't have a guard that can run the pick n roll. I dunno if y'all have watched Devin Harris run the pick n roll but he was one of our most effective at running it with Tyson last year and I don't see why that would change next year. Obviously he's not elite, but he's perfectly capable.

No, it's a he has no offense unless CP3 is feeding him at the rim thing. I also think his defense his a bit overrated. He's not nearly the defender that Doc tried to hype him up to be.

I didnt say that.. I said the moves they just made doesn't seem to make them MUCH better than last year and don't think they can make the WCF with this team

and I also said lets see how it all pans out.

Would be a fantastic move but there's no way we can afford him.

We'll more than likely pick up Lin, some cheap backup center and then bring back guys like Charlie V and hopefully grab a 3 point specialist for cheap.

I think DAJ is a tremendous signing and it will be interesting how he improves under Carlisle. Huge upgrade in my mind over what they have my problem is I don't think they have much depth and Dirk is getting older so how much better will they ultimately be.

Here's my question, who has been saying this? I've seen this argument on Reddit, on other sports forums and here. Where are all the people making the argument about the Mavs getting to the WCF? It seems like a lot of people are building up this imaginary argument coming from Mavs fans, and there may be some (delusional) fans saying stuff like that, but actual Mavs fans that know what's going on know we aren't going to be contending for any titles this year. We're happy because we're actually trying to get some young, promising talent with potential as opposed to guys that are right at their prime or past it.
