    Ouch! That's some heavy coin.

So much for that market his shoe company wanted him in.

Not a bad deal for what everyone else is signing for. I kept hearing he was going to get a max deal.

I really like what the Knicks did this off season. Starting with the draft up until now they've assembled a decent squad. They got every position filled pretty much. Not bad Phil Jackson, not bad.

ESPN sources say pitch LaMarcus Aldridge got from Pop today about playing with Duncan AND taking over when Timmy's gone resonated strongly
I really hope this get's done and I'm not even a Spurs fan, of course do like watching them as a basketball fan. Taking over when Timmy is gone is what's most important here cause obviously some changes will have to come amd Tim doesn't have many more years left. I can't think of another organization that I would have more confidence in than the Spurs as far as making those changes.

I always thought TD could tell him how David Robinson stepped to the side a bit and helped him with the transition of "taking over the team" Sure he would do the same for LM. Of course it won't be easy but them Spurs always seem to find those players plus they have Kawhi and Green signed to new contracts for a few more years.

If he can get set up like that regularly in Dallas like you say, then yeah. He'll be fine.

How much of that offense was created by Monta out of curiosity?
The pick and roll has been the Mavs' main bread and butter over the past decade plus. They try to bring in players that fit that system.

Monta Ellis was one of the best at it and Dallas will certainly miss him but they will run the PnR all day long regardless of who is on the court.

As far as alley oops, the best lob passers for the Mavs last season were JJ Barea, Devin Harris, and Chandler Parsons. Tyson Chandler didnt have a problem getting his lobs last season, and i doubt that will be a problem for Jordan either.

Raptors presentation to Carroll sounded interesting. They used his family as part of the presentation. The thing about that...he had no idea they were even gonna be there, and then suddenly out of nowhere Raptors had his family there actually in the presentation itself.

That, and Casey admitting he has a mancrush on Carroll, were things he really liked about the presentation/meeting.

The more I think about it, the more I feel Jordan is a great piece for the Mavs.

Last season their offense was set for all time records...Carlisle had them playing great ball...and then it all went wrong with the Rondo trade and Ellis sulking.

Now...they can go back to that offense of last year only with a HUGE uograde in Jordan over 2015 Tyson and also a BIG upgrade in efficiency and shooting with Matthews over Ellis...and also a much, much better locker room environment.

Magic would've just matched since as you see they basically maxed him

Would the Mavs have enough cap space to sign LA if he wanted to be here?

Wes is a better shooter than Ellis, but can he create his own shot and come through in crunch time like Monta can?
