Well for us itd be nice if we could go after dragic, and NOT sign rondo. from there a randle who has worked to improve his game, and maybe a solid wing player out of the draft would be nice. I didnt get to watch much college bball this year, so i dont know who we would get. But i actually think a rebuild if done right for this team could work.

Another potential prize summer target for the Mavs: Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, who multiple sources say has made it clear through back channels that he will be extremely interested in coming to Dallas. Signing the 26-year-old Jordan, a dominant physical force who led the league in rebounding and field-goal percentage this season, would mean letting the 32-year-old Tyson Chandler leave again after another one-season stint with the Mavs.
“That’s up to management and what they decide to do,” Chandler said of his possible future in Dallas as he enters free agency, adding that his preference would be to return to the Mavs.

Wow, that's a tough one between DeAndre and Tyson. Personally I think DeAndre is a bit overrated and benefits a LOT from playing with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin but he's also basically the same mold of player as Tyson but younger and maybe becoming more of a focal point would help push his game forward.

I'm not getting my hopes though because every year we hear about all these guys that would love to come Dallas and then they end up elsewhere for reasons.

He's by far a better rebounder than Tyson.. Probably better at everything defensively other than just the "vertical" plays.. He's more mobile, hedges better, blocks the shots that Tyson wouldn't be able to reach, etc...

His offense is most certainly benefitted by Blake and CP3 though. I think it just depends on if you're comfortable with paying him that much more than you would Tyson. Is the cost worth the reward.

I would like to know who said he's interested in Dallas.. I find it odd that Jordan, or any player, would be openly talking about interest in another team while competing in a tight playoff series.

Figure out what "Back Channels" mean and you have the answer to your question.

I feel like this applies to him taking shots at Paul after what went down.

Dirk Nowitzki, a 13-time All-Star and the face of the Dallas Mavericks' franchise, would be willing to come off the bench if it's in the team's best interests next season.

Not that it has to be said, but Dirk is a class act through and through.

Either way, they badly need that veteran presence off the bench, specifically one who has actually won a NBA title before also. I mean if Chuck Hayes is your main bench vet.......you surely need to improve big time in that area.

Really hoping they do get one.

Turkoglu is a free agent this summer. Don't be surprised if he's the kind of player that could win a ring or two for the raptors.

Didn't Turk/Toronto fail miserably once already this lifetime? Also the fact that dude is pretty much past done.
