Makes you kind of wonder, had the Knicks purposely tanked its last few games of the season, they may have ended up with the #1 pick and the Wolves at #4.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
So the Lakers should probably be hoping that Minny takes Okafor right? Unless something has changed during this injury I don't trust Randle's jumper outside of about 2 and a half feet. They'll want that dude who spreads the floor out there.
What is the minimum number of games you can play before getting injured to still be considered a rookie the following year? Will we have Randle/Embiid/Jabari all gunning for ROY this year, or did Jabari suit up for enough games to miss out?

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Who knows what type of player LA wants with Byron there.
Either way, they can't afford to be picky with their selection and need to go BPA regardless of what Randle can/can't do.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I was assuming BPA would be Okafor/Towns, whichever of the two Minny doesn't take. That's what I meant by them hoping Minny takes Okafor, so Towns would go to them.

1 game really, Randle wasn't given an exception either IIRC.Last edited by Reyes19; 05-19-2015, 09:58 PM.Comment

Saw that LA is preparing an offer for Marc Gasol... wouldn't be surprised to see them go Russell if Towns is off the board.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
The Knicks were the only team to move down tonight. Everyone else stayed put and LA moved up.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I think that's why they're more likely stay at #2 and take Russell, unless they got an offer they can't refuse. They can then pursue Aldridge, Gasol and Love potentially in free agency to add their "name". They can fill two big holes that way. If they take Towns/Okafor it kinda limits their improvement ceiling this summer unless they want to take a flier on Rondo.
I also have no idea how badly they're trying to please Kobe and try to field a competitive team ASAP or if they're willing to take the slower rebuilding path."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Absolute pipe dream offseason move for us I'd love to see. Somehow prying Harrison Barnes away from the Warriors.
Something like Noah and Snell or Noah and re-upped Dunleavy for Lee and Barnes.
Or Taj for Barnes and a pick or something like that. GS would never go for either of those, but a man can dream.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
As we've seen over the last few years, unless they're winning, "names" aren't exactly flocking to LA just because anymore especially if they can go to a better situation and get the same amount of money or in some cases, more.#RespectTheCultureComment
