Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I'm getting a bad feeling from all of this. Why would Love opt out of his contract? It makes no financial sense plus he's coming off a major injury and a bad year by his standards. There are a few possibilities, but I'm starting to think he wants out.Comment

If we essentially traded Wiggins for the ****ing Morris twins I will lose it.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
He said he wants to be back, so right now it's his word against rumors. I was never a fan of the trade to begin with because of the cap space it sacrificed and I just don't see that's not going to be an issue for Cleveland going forward between the luxury tax and the emergence of Tristan Thompson. Bennett is ****ing worthless but you'd at least still have him and Wiggins on rookie contracts rather than a max guy in Love. They say winning cures everything but beyond next year, I'm not sure how this team stays together, even with the cap increase. I need to understand the cap situation better and what the cap rise will mean though.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
If the Kings are serious about trading DeMarcus then they need to gut the rest of their roster because whatever they get in return will still not be enough to be contenders.
The only reasonable deal I can see them get in return are draft picks- ideally Lakers or perhaps even T'Wolves?
A duo of Wiggins/Cousins would surely be something.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
The Warriors are reportedly willing to offer their No. 30 pick in the 2015 NBA draft in order to sweeten a deal involving David Lee.
I honestly can't see many teams having the financial assets to make this deal work. I've even scoured through each teams' salary situation and most of them who have bad contracts expire the same year as Lee which makes no sense they're trying to shed contracts.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I don't think GSW are going to simply dump Lee's contract whilst also giving up the 30th pick just to trade down in the draft. If that's the case then they might as well keep Lee and use him as a rotational player during the course of the regular season.
GSW will probably try package a deal to move up in the draft. Then once FA begins, they should target a cheap rotational player- someone like Bass or Stoudemire.Comment
