I know nothing about sports lol ok..

You say stats are everything, and defense is just one thing Bosh has on Love.. I believe you said 1 to 5 Bosh loses right.. Defense is literally half the game. You can score 26 a night but if you defense is constantly giving up open lanes to the rim, getting blown by on hedges, losing you mine on cuts, etc. you can very quickly give up more point than you are capable of scoring.

Again, Bosh and LeBron being able to run "small ball" made Miami flow. There is a reason their defensive schemes worked, there is a reason LeBron was more effective offensively, and Bosh more efficient than Love offensively.

Here's some numbers for your *** since stats don't lie. LeBron was able to score more points per game, with higher field goal percentages, less shot attempts, and playing less minutes while in Miami than in Cleveland.. Do you know why? A large part was Chris Bosh's versatility.. And no versatility doesn't have a stat column, but I guess it doesn't matter? Bosh's ability to space the floor offensively while also being able to defend as a "center" allowed James to offensively play the PF.. From here James could become the most efficient playoff scorer the league has had in a long long time.

Maximizing LeBron is more important than Bosh scoring a few points less than Love.. LeBron is the best player in the world, him firing on all cylinders gives any team he plays on the best shot at winning.. Bosh's versatility allowed Miami to maximize LeBron at both ends of the court.

More stats.. Bosh actually scored more as a 3rd option than Love did.. Love per 36 with LeBron 17ppg, Bosh per 36 with LeBron 18.3ppg. Bosh the better FT shooter with LeBron, better FG% with LeBron. Bosh was also a more rounded scorer.. Better on drives 43% to 29%, better inside 68% to 54%, and more efficient EFG% 55% to 51%..

Also, by your logic, why does defense get 1 point and offense multiple points.. Bosh is a better shot blocker, he gets more steals, he's a better rim protector, he's better at hedging screens, he can defend power forwards and centers, he has a higher defensive rating.. There is more than one area of defense just like there is more than one area of offense..

But at the end of the day NOBODY here said Bosh was a better player than Love. I said Bosh's impact played a bigger role in Miami's systems than Love's did for Cleveland this year.. And that doesn't matter about which is better, who who gets what stats.. It's about their role and what the provided. Chris Bosh allowed Miami to play their style of play, his role had a bigger overall impact regardless of which of the two is a better player or has better career stats.

Your making personal attacks, that's called trolling and a ban-able offense here. Claiming we don't know basketball, basically calling us racist against a white player, calling us idiots, calling us liars, putting words in our mouths.. Yes you can be banned for all that.

For a direct reply to the actual purpose of this thread..

I think they pay Love the big bucks.. They have already made the trades to build around him and his strengths while making up for his weaker points.. No reason not to keep him.

If Love doesn't want to stay, which we seem to be ignoring that notion, then Cleveland is by no means lost. They can fill the void with the money they will get from Haywood's contract and the new cap room coming soon.
