I want to believe that's a joke, but I can totally see Ballmer crying during the meeting.

Lmao, that would scare me right out of there. But for real that would make me feel really uncomfortable.

Apparently the Heat initially offered Wade $10 mil/year [emoji23]

No wonder he's talking to other teams, they offering Delly money to him

$10 million a year is too low, but somewhere hovering around $14 - $17 million is fair for a player that is past his prime and will only continue to decline.

Still hoping the Spurs can still snag Pau Gasol or another center to back up or start for Timmy, but some of these numbers being handed out are just stupid. The Pelicans alone have handed out a combined $86 million to E'Twaun Moore and Solomon Hill - which are two players I like, but are journeymen/role players at best - while the Grizzlies sunk an ungodly amount of money ($247 million) on two injury prone players that won't be improving (IMHO) the team's fortune anytime soon.

I'll be happy with trying to grab a center, point guard or wing player while hoping one of the newer guys (Simmons, Marjanovic or Anderson) or overseas guys (Bertans or Livio - Charles) blossoms into something. **** all this overspending!

His MVP year seems like 10 years ago. He just wants to be told he's important. As soon as he re-signs he'll go back to being a freakish shooter who ain't winning a ring.

Recap of FA signings so far imo

                          The 'Eyebrow raising' deals
                          • Timofey Mozgov 4yr, $65 million (Los Angeles Lakers)
                          • Matthew Dellavedova 4yr, $39 million (Milwaukee Bucks)
                          • Solomon Hill 4yr, $52 million (New Orleans Pelicans)

The 'Does not fit the team' deals
                          • Jeff Green 1yr, $15 million (Orlando Magic)
                          • Jared Dudley 3yr, $30 million (Phoenix Suns)

                          The 'Bargain/underrated' deals
                          • Ish Smith 3yr, $18 million (Detroit Pistons)
                          • Al Jefferson 3yr, $30 million (Indiana Pacers)
                          • Mirza Teletovic 3yr, $30 million (Milwaukee Bucks)

Damn it's a good time to be an 'average' player in today's league.

Why did the Knicks give Noah 4 years though? That part still makes no sense to me.

One of my all-time favorite Bulls. I can't even begin to stress how great Jo has been for the city of Chicago with his Noah's Arc Foundation. He's done his part to try to help with the violence in the city. I'll be watching a lot more Knicks games next season. Might even pick up a certain couple Knicks jerseys.

I was thinking the same. Who were we bidding against? As far as we know, it didn't seem like he was ever far enough in negotiations with other teams to be able to demand much of anything. But what do I know?
