Miami was a first round exit team and had only returned Wade and Arroyo from the starting lineup to afford Bron/Bosh. Two years prior they were in the lotto. They were projected to start Arroyo and Joel Anthony, if that compared to what GS has then my vision on talent judgment must be broken.
GS just made two straight finals rolling through the "loaded" West. The ONLY team that's given them the slightest trouble was OKC, and now that is gone because their best player left to join them.
When LeBron left for Miami the East didn't appear to be trash. There was still Boston's big 3 that had made two finals, and Dwight and the Magic that had just beaten LeBron and Boston to make the finals the year before.. It was no guarantee they were making it out of East, though one would assume.
It's already clear that GS is going to make it out of the West. It has already happened twice, predicted to be back next year, and now added the biggest piece with a chance at stopping them to their own team.
I know with you there will always be the reverse-bias with anything LeBron. But idk how you can sit there and say this is the same situation, it's not anything close other than both teams have 3 top 15ish player.. The rest of the circumstances aren't even remotely similar. I don't have a problem with KD going to GS, but these situations aren't similar at all. Other than the best free agent available left the team that drafted him.
