Dallas has emerged as a frontrunner on Golden State free agent center Andrew Bogut, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Let me be clearer: Golden State and Dallas nearing terms on a trade to send Bogut to the Mavericks. I'll shake out the cobwebs here yet.

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Could the different reactions to KD and LBJ just be a matter of time and expectations changing?
When LBJ did it (outside of the Celtics) this "big 3" thing and superstars teaming up through FA was relatively new.
Now "big 3" is a term constantly thrown around by media, fans, players, etc. Maybe it's just the way it is now and most has accepted it.

As a Knick fan, you should recall that New York was a playoff team when Carmelo forced his way there. I also forgot to mention Chris Paul forcing his way to LA from New Orleans.
Anthony Davis, Andrew Wiggins, Jimmy Butler and another upcoming star needs to "team up" next.
from Spurs Nation/Bills Backer HQ
Knicks were like 2 games over .500 or something when they made the Melo trade. There is no comparison to the big 3 in Miami, or KD going to GS, not that I find anything wrong with those either.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Miami was a first round exit team and had only returned Wade and Arroyo from the starting lineup to afford Bron/Bosh. Two years prior they were in the lotto. They were projected to start Arroyo and Joel Anthony, if that compared to what GS has then my vision on talent judgment must be broken.
GS just made two straight finals rolling through the "loaded" West. The ONLY team that's given them the slightest trouble was OKC, and now that is gone because their best player left to join them.
When LeBron left for Miami the East didn't appear to be trash. There was still Boston's big 3 that had made two finals, and Dwight and the Magic that had just beaten LeBron and Boston to make the finals the year before.. It was no guarantee they were making it out of East, though one would assume.
It's already clear that GS is going to make it out of the West. It has already happened twice, predicted to be back next year, and now added the biggest piece with a chance at stopping them to their own team.
I know with you there will always be the reverse-bias with anything LeBron. But idk how you can sit there and say this is the same situation, it's not anything close other than both teams have 3 top 15ish player.. The rest of the circumstances aren't even remotely similar. I don't have a problem with KD going to GS, but these situations aren't similar at all. Other than the best free agent available left the team that drafted him.

I don't want to hear this bull**** about Boston's big 3 because everybody in here and outside of OS was saying exactly what they're saying right now. "Not gonna watch" "may as well cancel the season" "just give them the title now" "nobody is beating them." Don't try to act like people were giving Boston credit to make it out of the east over them in the beginning now. Yeah people HOPED Boston or Chicago or somebody could beat them, but they were the overwhelming favorites to make it out of the east just like Golden State is now.
My only issue is this nonsense that I saw somebody (can't even remember who posted it now) acting like the difference between being okay with what LeBron did and not okay with KD is that the Warriors are already stacked. Who gives a **** if they were already stacked or their stacking them at the same time? **** outta here with that ridiculousness.
These gonna be the 80's version of the Four Horsemen man. Maybe Evolution?Comment
