This may be a dumb question cause of a brain fart, but is KD and Curry teaming up the first time that 2 MVPs have teamed up AFTER both having won the MVP? For example, Kobe didn't win MVP until Shaq was gone so that doesn't count.

If I had to guess, I'd say Kareem and Magic, so this probably isn't the first time but maybe second time?

Only problem I have with Durant leaving is that I wanted to see KD/Westbrook beat GS to make the finals..

I guess they had their shot.

Kareem and Magic are the only other tandem I can think of offhand. I was gonna say Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain but looking on West's stats he unbelievably never won an MVP.

If I'm OKC, I listen to offers for Westbrook. Don't expect him to stay, and you're better being in next year's lottery than the 2018 one.

Kareem and Magic didn't team up after they both won MVPs. Kareem was in LA before Magic was drafted.
