I understand it when people say he can do what he wants and understanding that he wants to put himself in the best position to win but damn man, I lost a crap load of respect for KD after this.

You guys remember the worst pick up players thread? Well what about the guy who always wants to be on the best player's team so he can win without having to have much responsibility?

Well as a fan of the game and of no team in particular can you explain to me why I wouldn't want the chance to see 10 or more teams have a chance to win it all rather than the 3 or 4 which seems to be the norm?

There really isn't a sport where this is even close to being the case.

the problem with basketball isn't parity...though that's how it gets expressed...the real issue is that there is a lot of crappy basketball being played and consistently so...

People see it as a parity issue when what it comes down to is a league that is 2-4 teams too large with a goofy CBA

People see it as a parity issue when what it comes down to is a league that is 2-4 teams too large with a goofy CBA

I kind of feel like baseball has gotten to that point of parity, which is weird because it has no cap and was anything but balanced with the Yankees and Red Sox dominance.

Part of me thinks the NBA and NFL should swap CBAs. I'd love to see a hard cap (maybe a soft cap to keep players you draft) with no set max on player contracts. So, give LeBron or Curry 80 percent of your cap allotment if you want.
