That previous core in Oklahoma City peaked, but they had Durant, Westbrook, Adams and Kanter to build around. They just moved Ibaka for a good, young combo guard in Oladipo, they also received a nice prospect in Sabonis and a veteran, "stretch 4" on a cheap deal in Ersan.

He bailed cause (like LeBron before him) he wanted the easiest path to a championship.

He didn't want anymore of the pressure and disappointment of carrying a franchise on his back (with Westbrook). Instead wants to jump right to winning titles after "giving so much" (while being paid greatly too).

Basically he just wants to hit the "Easy" button for a change. Plus, he's a free agent and isn't beholden to any team or fans. I see both sides of the coin, but it still feels like a chump move.

You can say "who cares" or respect it if you want, but I won't and plenty of people will agree with both of us.

That's the best part about sports and having an opinion, we all see these situations and outcomes differently.

Well, im not the one complaining here.

The same people that are would be calling him everything short of a God if he went to their squad.

Dude just wants to win, and Thanks to the internet sports is all about what have you done for me lately to be honest with you.

I don't know if it was the easiest path, but he is in position to win.

I saw guys couple up after doing things like getting another star then vets coming out the woodworks to sign minimum deals.

Someone mentioned Ray Allen to Miami

It's been going on, but only Durant is soft now is ridiculous.

KD knew OKC peaked and it was time to go. He chose a place he felt he could realate to guys whom he spent time with on an olympic team

Most of all he's a free agent, he can go where he wants to go

I agree with pretty much everything you said except that OKC peaked. I don't believe for a second that they peaked, especially when they were up 3-1 and Steven Adams is only 22. Westbrook and Durant are still young enough to where they still have room for improvement as well. They could've easily taken the next step this year and been a legit contender.

But I think it's moreso he just wants rings and maybe just doesn't care too much for playing with Westbrook.

He can win rings now and be a multi-champion when he retires, but as long as it's these GSW that he's winning titles with, he's pretty much disqualified himself from being consider a tier 1 all-time great in the MJ/Magic/Bird/Bron/Etc. crew.

People make me laugh trying to pencil in GSW for the chip.

Who is doing the rebounding? Oh wait...they're never gonna miss a shot right?

Who is blocking shots? 6'5 Draymond?

How is Curry gonna defend any legit guard? Kyrie cooked him. Also exposed him once his shot wasn't falling.

Don't get me wrong...they'll run through the regular season and they should be favorites. But they do have holes.

Agreed. Assuming a Cavs rematch, they still are gonna get smoked by the Irving PnR. Remember Kyrie is only 24 and he'll be healthy this offseason, meaning he's going to be even better next year. Pretty scary, glad he's on my side, lol.

OKC never made it back to the finals, I don't care what or who they had.

Once Harden left it was over...and they have nobody to blame for that but their GM.

You keep trading core pieces to keep playing Iso ball...that's not going to win you anything in this league.

Ya'll crack me up with these newfound labels ya'll done came up with in the last 2 days. Like everyone became 3 Degree Psychologists all of a sudden.

"Tier 1 All Time Great" - Because you can't be a HOFer if you're not in "Tier 1" LOL.

"He's soft. If he would've went to the Spurs, it would count as a full championship but since he went to the Warriors, it only counts for 75%"

It wasn't over after they traded Harden though, they had some really bad breaks.

- 2013 year after the Finals, they lost Westbrook to injury in the first round.
- They were missing Ibaka for the first 2 games in the WCF in 2014.
- Lost Durant in 2015.
- Choked a 3-1 lead this year

They had the pieces to win. They had some bad breaks 13-15 and they just flat out choked this year.

IDK if Durant has the Alpha Dog badge in 2k16 but time to change that **** to Beta Dog in 2K17, lol.
