re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Him being the best player in the world isn't legacy, it's not looking back and you can't take that away. Him being on the team has nothing to do with his talent as a player. If you want to say it hurts in the long run and where he ranks in the Pantheon of players that's one thing, but to say basically he doesn't have the talent he has because he plays for a certain team is bizarre. It doesn't make sense.
Also, be very careful throwing around terms like "beta" lol, remember what you're known here for. Your boy dipped out of Cleveland to play with his best friends and then froze in the FinalsIf KD comes home to the Wizards after 2 failed titles and 2 successful ones to win one for the District, do we forgive him?

Nets rescinded Markel Brown's QO. We did the same to Langston Galloway a few days ago. I hope they both re-up with their teams, it must suck to be in limbo and off limits all this time and suddenly you're a real free agent after people have already started filling their roster spots.

So all of that he's tarnished his legacy, he's a beta, a tier 2, no better than Pippen, etc. , just to end up saying we're in a wait and see and the story is still being written? Fair enough, but that's basically admitting the hottest of takes lol.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

I don't really think city or lifestyle has anything to do with it. From hearing a lot about Kevin around here (PG County, where he is actually from) he is a pretty low key, modest and unassuming guy. I actually think he loved living in Oklahoma City in many ways.
I could definitely see outside pressures from Nike, his family and "inner circle" playing a part in deciding to leave. Most of all though, I think it is just the opportunity to win championships without having to be the man every night, play 40+ minutes every postseason and have the burden of expectation placed primarily on his shoulders.
from Spurs Nation/Bills Backer HQ
He supposedly owns several businesses in OKC including a BBQ joint but on Monday the Facebook or Twitter account for the restaurant was hit with suggestions that they shut it down.Comment

That's the path he's headed down right now. He's still got time to change it but that's clearly the road he's on.Comment

And what exactly does this mean "Once I really figure it out, I'll deal with it"?
Can I ask why I'm being threatened?Comment
