Ya'll don't take that "Send our College Kids" nonsense somewhere else. The same ones talking about "they don't need to be paid in College, they're getting paid enough with an education" are the same ones talking about send them there. Man hush.

And ya'll want this because you want to see games decided by 5 pts or less? Ya'll some weirdos.

I bet you'll rethink that idea when they mess around and lose to Nigeria or Iceland and get eliminated in the group stages.

But don't worry, we'll get 4 years to celebrate that participation award we get just for playing in the Olympics.

Sending college kids sounds like a great idea... until Cory Joseph is hanging 30 on us because Denzel Valentine is our primary wing stopper. No thanks. No need to handicap ourselves. Like others have said, they didn't take it easy on us in soccer.

International soccer players are eons more talented than U.S. Soccer players regardless of age. Won't matter if it's the Olympics or a friendly match. That's another story for another day though.

The fact is that the games have become unwatchable for a lot of people. I have much better things to do than watch Demar Derozan get his rocks off against a Nigerian team who won't put up a fight...sorry.

The Dream Team was a novelty. This right now is a joke.

But hey...get that gold Melo and Cousins to feel good for yourselves because they'll never win anything of significance in the league.

I don't think we should send college guys. That's asking for trouble with big time NBA players on international teams like the Gasols, Parker, Gobert, Ginobili, Ibaka, Rubio, etc. But I'm all for seeing the "next crop" of USA basketball sooner rather than later. I like seeing us win, but how many times do we gotta best teams by 40 until guys like Durant, Melo, etc. get bored and stop going?

People were getting worried that this team as currently constructed might not perform as well as if we had our full team. But we're still going to kill everybody, and we're still going to win gold.

I can't smash on our players who are repping us in the World games man.

I'm not even rooting against Bricks...well Lowry. They can let him be that 15th guy or whatever that sits like Laettner, but if he can get us buckets cool, he just doesn't excite me.

I wonder when Germany was beating up on Brazil in the World Cup a few years ago like 7-0, were the fans complaining about being too dominant lol...

I don't really get that line of thinking to be honest. The NBA is where you complain about competitive balance, not the Olympics. They have events in shot putting and skiing and figure skating... It's not about being a fun competition to watch. It's about winning. Bring home the gold by any means. It's not about the games being fun, isn't the point in every sport to dominate?

One of the biggest disconnects in sports for me is Larry Brown's reputation vs what I've actually seen from him. Our "star" hates the guy? There's a good choice to lead the team. How did that even happen?

Coaching the Olympic team? Let's try to install a system even though I have the most talented roster in the world and no time to teach them.
