Oh he's been a leader for a long time, but not the ultimate kind. Sometimes a leader has to take matters in his own hands, something LeBron rarely does

That kinda talk only comes up in losses though. Nobody was saying that throughout the ECFComment

Let me see if I phrase this right; So do you realize that guys like you have actually turned the OS NBA forum into reddit-lite or nah? Yet I'm labeled as the "reddit informant" on here. Lol. I'm actually trying to talk basketball but this place has been a zoo of memes and **** posts for awhile now, just like the place some of you all think you're high above for whatever reason.
How are you trying to talk basketball? You're talking about Cleveland firing Lue and paying 4 coaches when you were just the one in here pumping up how great a coach he is because he tells LeBron to shut the **** up in huddles and now he's getting fired? That's LeBron's chosen coach, he ain't going nowhere for a while and if they're already paying 2 other coaches in addition to him, they ain't paying him to go away too and somebody to replace him. Not even the Russian throws around that kind of money. Plus how you gonna have a dude for half a season, decide he's your guy then fire him for losing in the friggin Finals? Get outta here with this bs cima lol

I've been saying these things about LeBron since forever.Comment

It's a good strategy, he's obviously not at his best when his options are reduced to just scoring. Especially so now.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
No doubt he's flawed, but what do you suggest? The dude took most of the shots in the 2nd half.
Yeah he probably went overboard with passing in the first half, but the Warriors have everything they need to take advantage of his weaknesses.Comment

But similar to what airjoca said about Bron, I also feel that Curry is not a "true" Alpha Dog...he is not the "complete" leader, IMO.
I feel like Green and Thompson join with him to form a "Alpha Trio" if you will.
They are like a 3-headed Cerberus and Curry is the larger, more sharp-toothed middle-head of the (Alpha) Dog.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Especially when you have a bad game it gets worse.
Sure Kerr was right about Lebron...matbe its just an observation airjoca is making against the hype. I can understand that.Comment

We already know LeBron aint beating the 73-9 Warriors by himself.
No doubt he's flawed, but what do you suggest? The dude took most of the shots in the 2nd half.

Yes, basketball is a team sport. But take a look at game 3. Everything was going wrong for the Warriors in the beginning of the game, both at individual and collective levels. A true killer superstar would've kept the game close on his own allowing the team to come together.
Jordan or a similar "alpha dog" superstar would never have 2 points at the half like Curry had when the team was doing so badly.Last edited by airjoca; 06-11-2016, 04:43 PM.Comment

Sometimes I wish there was a Simpsons gif of Bart writing "there was only one Jordan. There was only one Jordan. There was only one Jordan.""It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Bron has flaws in his game like any other superstar we've seen....and he's had success as as well as failures...
There's no quesiton in my mind that he's a leader and capable of being 'the' guy....he's been that and proven that already IMO
I do think he's different in that he feels taking a game over can mean doing it as a playmaker as much as it means scoring...which is interpreted as gun shy or uneasy in that situation...which is don't agree with.
Thats why I found it odd when KD was criticized when he came out in Game 5 of the WCFs clearly trying to assert his will by doing what he does best..scoring...even though he was off...Comment
