Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Lol....I am actually going to buy a pair this weekend. Dont know of I'll ever wear them outside though. As a poor kid I actually tried out for the 6th grade basketball team in my grandmother's Airwalks.
I made the team (benchwarmer) but the hood never let me live it down. You can still go to East Oakland 25 years later and ask about the kid who once wore his granny's shoes on the court.Comment

i don't see it. lebron's perimeter game has regressed and it wasn't great to begin with. the best i see with lebron is around 35 points. cavs need 40 or more and they are not getting it with this dude.Comment

Crazy at first glance I didn't really see the other Cleveland players and that "What Kobe see's meme" came to mind-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Lebron is the alpha dog on that team.
He formed it and he runs these cliques doesn't he?
In contrast, the Warriors hype up the Strength in Numbers thing but they really hang together all the time, especially on road trips.
Before he was even drafted, Lebron had NBA stars like Antoine Walker trying to be in his clique. So from a young age, he's had all this adulation and was able to dictate what he wanted, especially after he left for Miami.
That is alpha male behavior, even if he may not be the alpha on the court all the time. But he'll certainly be talking to all the teammates during timeouts.
He has no reason to but he could become a coach.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Bron has flaws in his game like any other superstar we've seen....and he's had success as as well as failures...
There's no quesiton in my mind that he's a leader and capable of being 'the' guy....he's been that and proven that already IMO
I do think he's different in that he feels taking a game over can mean doing it as a playmaker as much as it means scoring...which is interpreted as gun shy or uneasy in that situation...which is don't agree with.
Thats why I found it odd when KD was criticized when he came out in Game 5 of the WCFs clearly trying to assert his will by doing what he does best..scoring...even though he was off...
The fact that he has such a high bbiq means he certainly recognized the position his team was in during last game's 4th quarter. The way he responded was telling. We all saw his game mature and flourish (in spite of him in some cases) in Mia. The skills he's missing now were on display in full effect there. So how do some parts of his game regress back to where they were before he left CLE? Even his free throw shooting is somehow worse.
Its a strange development and unless he's nursing some undisclosed injury I don't think it's unfair to question whether or not he's still committed to working on those skills. If he's still working as hard on those things as he obviously was in Miami I can't see how he'd be getting worse. It doesn't make sense.Comment

Hold on...
How would James even get suspended? This would be his first tech, flagrant, whatever they decide to call it?
Hell its not even an illegal play to step over someone.. That would be ludicrous
Edit: just realized it had been discussed and was false.
