But the way he phrased his post made it seem like the league was catering to Soccer in this instance, that's why I said it sounded too stupid to be true.#RespectTheCultureComment

Also a pretty crazy defensive sequence from Iggy

That's about as good a defensive sequence you'll ever see.

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
It's amazing.
Even though this is a *****, its still interesting from skip baseless
Iguodala not getting credit for SHUTTING DOWN LeBron. Iggy primary defender 32 times last nite. LBJ, only 2 attempts! 0-2! 3 TO's!
...and I don't know what happened to LeBron's jumper. It looks like he regressedComment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
But this year, it's been put to the extreme because they no longer have to worry about who is guarding him.
Last year, they made the game 4 decision to start Iggy to stick on LeBron. But LeBron has clearly lost a step (and relax Cavs fans, losing a step at his level still makes him amazing. It just means it also helps the defense a little bit more) and the Warriors don't care if it's Curry or Bogut guarding James.
The plan is to let him go iso and shut down his passing lanes. It's the ultimate go ahead and prove you can beat us strategy."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Yep. They sort of did this last year by telling LeBron to beat them.

Doesn't help when the Cavs won't move off the ball, but seeing that they don't get that many shots, they might just feel like they're ball watching half the game.
Lue hasn't seen this in the film sessions or are LeBron and Kyrie ignoring him like RWB and KD did?Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Lebron and Kyrie both played the entire 2nd half. Off ball movement is one of the first things to go when you're fatigued. Kerr's rotation is still 9 or 10 guys. Lue uses like 7. It caught up to them last night.

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Iguodala is a beast. If I had to vote I'd say him or Green as finals MVP. But really I'am not sure they win this series without either Iggy or Green.Last edited by Vni; 06-11-2016, 03:37 PM.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Iggy is like +116(more than anybody on his team by far) in these finals so people might take that and choose him again unless Steph has another unworldly game in a Game 5 win.

Sources say the Draymond Green/LeBron James Game 4 incident is indeed under league review, but there is no known timetable yet for a rulingComment

LeBron is not an alpha dog. Never has been.
Wade was, and that's why things worked out for LeBron at Miami. Even though Wade was already going downhill in terms of physical ability, he instilled his mentality on LeBron and the team.
LeBron will forever be a beta dog, and Kyrie is too young and inexperienced to be the alpha dog.Comment

Did you copy and paste that from realgm. I saw that post somewhere else.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
I do think LeBron learned to really win when he was with Wade, but I can't say he's never been a leader or anything.
He needs to put some work in on his jumper again this summer though. Probably should work on that post game too, just being able to do it effectively without over dribbling.Comment
