This is the same way stats that go against LBJ should be looked at too then no?......like what's soon to be '2-6'

I also agree with you on Livingston....he's pretty much a mismatch for most teams....most guys don't have 6'7 PGs coming off their bench. You gotta get in his body and play the dribble pull up....Waiters did a good job of it

Livingston has been inconsistent this post-season, at least on offense.

I think playing more minutes in the Houston and Portland series while Curry was out maybe took something out of him.

Smaller guards have been able to force him to take tougher turnaround jumpers in the post because he doesn't try to back them down too much.

When he was with Brooklyn, he was more aggressive against smaller guards, spinning around them to go to the hole, rather than settling for turnaround jumpers as much.

Maybe with the Warriors, he was told not to dominate the ball as much just to try to exploit a mismatch.

Nah, he was still taking those turnaround jumpers for us. I used to always rage everytime he did it too

He has a hitch in his shot too, a late jump throws guys like that off a lot of times....that's attention to detail type stuff though

Hmm, maybe it was just against the Warriors then.

Because I remember when the Warriors signed him, I knew he'd be good for them because of how much he exploited smaller PGs.

Livingston did the same things against OKC, but Waiters was a bit stronger than Kyrie and he couldn't back him down or really get to comfortable enough spots to take the jumper within his range.

Kyrie is giving up size and strength and truthfully is a liablity on defense.

Absolutely as Pack said, basketball is a team game. The only problem here is how people credit the winning to the losing. Winning and you'll only hear LeBron did it in these type of shallow stats.

                ..and they are shallow.

Kyrie did good on Curry defensively, but anytime he switched onto someone else, it was 2 points for GSW. Really not a fan of all this switching, but it's the lesser of two evils.

I see D'angelo as a better playmaker and outside shooter Livingston.

I wouldn't say he has no outside shoot but its really odd from like the playoffs last year and though all of this year and the playoffs his outside shoot has been way more off and way more inconsistent I don't get it.

What I see is that he is a mismatch for them, no matter if he scores 8-10 or not. The size matchup is a problem.

When Kenny Smith and Isaiah Thomas stood next to him in the post game interview he made them look little, so Irving and Dellavadova are pretty much the same in comparison...that's a problem in the post.

I was surprised when I saw that and saw just how much bigger he is I was like wow.

I mean, he was 2-4 in Game 1 from 3 and made like 3 threes in Game 6 against the Raptors.

Yeah but he was also like 28% of 3s this year a career worst when his career average is like 34% and one year he was like 40%.

31% this year, bad but not a career worst. Fact checking can be fun.

I don't really see how Bron's outside shot would have effected Game 1 anyway...especially with how they're playing him...

unless we're saying Barbosa and Livingston would be so awestruck by his shooting that they wouldn't perform as well lol

hopefully we get a closer game 2 tonight
